Since Steve Jobs died the hipsters are sad. I should wear a really tacky outfit to commemorate his death. Damn I don't have any printed scarves or loafers.

I need to get out my LISA. J/K that was the only Apple product I ever used, and I used it in school. And then I thought about the Super Bowl and the wondrous ads. "Because 1984 won't be like 1984."

I feel like watching some Eureka Seven.

I wrote this on a PC which might possibly be riddled with viruses.

A Black Eye is Worse than a Nipple, and a Zombie

I'd thought I'd start writing my blog now in case I forget

I'm happy I don't have to write a report on the game or something for a class.

I was waiting all afternoon to watch Lea Michele sing. I noticed Christina Agulara messed up the national anthem. I thought now with modern technology nobody sings "live" during national anthems during big sporting events. I know Jewel didn't. I remember there being a controversy about her prerecording it.

After than I partook in Brittany's cracker and cheese recipe.

The halftime show really sucked. I think the Oscillating air purifier should have taken Slash's place.

I ate too much, and was too full to make a "grilled cheeseus".

I thought the best commercial was the one with the pug in it for Doritos. I like pugs. I thought the Chevrolet Glee one that aired during the game was too "Mattress" for me.

I'm sure Shirley and the boys are happy about the outcome of the game.

The post Super Bowl Glee episode didn't really disappoint. If it did I was going to compare it to Friends. There are/were a lot of similarities. Between the series. I feel that season 2 of both shows weren't as good as season 1. Both shows had a post Super Bowl episode in their 2nd season. The "California Gurls" opening was ok. It sort of reminded me of the Cheerios routine of "Ray of Light" from "The Power of Madonna" episode. Quinn looked cute with blue hair. I know Glee isn't supposed to be realistic in any sense, but why not have JV players make up the championship team? I did like the zombie scene with everybody. It gave me ideas for Halloween. The guys singing in zombie makeup to a Zombie's song was ok. Hearing "Bills, Bills, Bills" made me think of high school. My former neighbors were big Destiny's Child fans with loud speakers. The ending with Sue didn't do it for me. I wish they would have showed her failing in some way at the competition than just being interviewed. It seemed cheap, and I felt cheated. The ending was the opposite of "Funk". Why didn't Beasite or anybody with football knowledge teach the girls about football? Anything; plays, formation, how the game works. The ending sort of reminded me of "Preggers", and the Disney cartoon Football Now and Then. Actually "Preggers" and "The Sue Sylvester Shuffle" trick plays remind me of that cartoon. The misspelled tattoo was hilarious! I was disappointed by the lack of Emma. She could have been really integral to this episode. I know this episode was catering to the non-gleeks, but it seemed like a chopped up episode with pieces of other episodes in it. Sure there was some new stuff and character and plot development.

Emma Would Eat That

It seems my family can't agree on what to eat during the Super Bowl. I suggested peanut butter and jelly sandwiches because they fit in the theme of Glee since Emma eats those. Then I thought of 2 other things to make grilled cheese sandwiches (preferably with a religious figure on them). I could also serve Cheerios cereal, but I don't like the plain kind. I like the honey nut ones. That really sounds like a menu for a preschooler or something. I can have wine coolers too Puck got Quinn drunk on those (mentioned in Preggers)

I don't want to make anything too hard since I'm a bad cook.
I was also trying to go with some food that had to do with the different cities playing. I had lots of ideas for Green Bay, but I could not come up with a food for Pittsburgh. I was thinking cheese steak, but then I remembered that is Philly. I have a good idea for some neutral treats serve yellow colored things like candies, cookies and cupcakes. Both teams wear yellow.

Compressed Air

I said a banned phrase from the list. Damn! And I was doing so well. I'm not going to repeat the phrase. I'm very upset with myself.

After hearing of Regis' departure. The one person I would not want to replace him would be Seacrest. Those are big shoes to fill like Bob Barker's were.

There is also a ban on saying "Super Bowl" or the NFL will you. Unless said person, company or origination is authorized to. Oh! I just said it! I hope the NFL doesn't sue me. *panics*

After all those shootings in the news it made me think of the wave all those computer cleaner deaths about 13 years ago. To this day I'm still afraid of compressed air.

Tweet Your Heart Out

There is a problem with my phone when I try and type a web address it puts spaces between the letters and can't get to the site. I have to pay more now. The plan I had is not available with this phone. At least I get unlimited web, so I can "tweet my heart out". IDK I thought that was a funny phrase.

The football game getting postponed messed up my tv watching and internet schedule. I'm surprised that NBC decided to carry the game on Tuesday and not give it to ESPN. I heard NBC is getting good ratings with football.

I might get a free day soon. ^0^ I'm making plans in case I do. I think I'll reenact scenes from music videos in my room. I think I'll reenact "Sex is not the Enemy" or maybe "Underneath it All".

I'm sad about the passing of Teena Marie. I'm not trying to make myself into a Teena Marie fan. I only know 2 of her songs; "Lovergirl" and "Behind the Groove". I really like "Lovergirl". I think I mentioned it in a blog once. Maybe it was one of my old myspace blogs? I'll need to look.

MVC; Most Valuable Customer

My dad was mad when he went to the Target and there was nobody in the electronics department. He is so stupid what does he think he is? A MVC? Most Valuable Customer? Places are understaffed, and I don't expect anybody to be anywhere in the store. Maybe it added to my frustration that I had recently read an article about that. Later when we are checking out he complain to the cashier about this. Why did he complain to the cashier? What's he going to do about it? Not getting help at stores is so prevalent I figure there will be nobody to help me when I need it EVER! I figure I have to do all the legwork even though they are getting paid for it. Now if somebody comes to help me I'm shocked and tell them that I don't need help.

I told my dad I didn't want to go see what happened to where I used to live. I figured I'd just use Google earth or something like when I cheated on that map project for my memoir class. It's not like he listens to me anyway. There are apartments where I use to live. I wonder what happened to the blackberry bush? It's probably gone too like the big pine tree is. I wonder where the possums went to live?

What I want for Christmas is Brittnay Pierce caliber. I don't want anybody to walk who can't, but I want some pretty "impossible" things.

People are thinking about (American) football games that had to be moved because of something like what happened to the Vikings? Why did nobody mention the Chargers game that was moved to Arizona because of the wildfires back in 2003?

KCET's non PBS schedule looks abysmal. I give them 5 years tops on the air. I'm being generous with that number. I will miss watching Arthur at 2:30 PM. But they are showing Prime Suspect which may help me in a writing class provided I get the same teacher and he uses the same material. Spoiler: It was George. I wrote about Prime Suspect on my old blog. I'll go and post those in the archives. Prime Suspect is referred to as a "movie". The blog doesn't mention that I also complied a list of my favorite fictional penguins. For children's programming they are going to show The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. I didn't see it when it was on Nickelodeon. I remember reading an article about the show in a magazine. I thought it ran for more than 2 seasons. I wonder if KCET will keep their Orange sub-channel?

Read this for Daisy

I was racking my brain trying to think of cool/cute/clever title. This is not a name dropping entry although it might seem or look like one. Ok in case somebody from class happens to stumble on this uh...welcome.

I want to recommend the book The Los Angeles Diaries. It's a good book. I enjoyed it. I think if you like dark things you'll like this book. It's a good book to read while listening to Garbage music. Or even the song "In The Snow". Which made me think I wonder if Shirley has read this book?

It was an interesting experience. Never really had a Q&A session with an author. I had a few questions about the book. A lot of people in the class really wanted their questions answered. As for me it's not that I was unprepared; I was just shy. A lot of people were asking the questions I wanted to ask anyway. I just wanted to take everything in, and take some notes. This sort of reminded me of when I went to this career in the arts convention back when I was a senior in high school. Actually that is a really funny story, but I'm not going to tell that today. I was writing about; what he was saying, how I was reacting to what he was saying, and other random thoughts I had. I ended up taking like a half a page of notes. Not many people in the class were taking notes though it wasn't an assignment or anything. Plus I thought taking notes on this would be good blog material.

Ok here is some insider stuff I got from him. The company publishing his book and that was going to publish his 2nd memoir book is closing down. Does this mean his older books are rare? Just wondering...

At the end of class a few people wanted to get their books signed. It was a short line of about 5 people, and I was the last one. It didn't take that long.

I had to admit to him that initially I thought his book was a book about football. I thought the book was written by this guy. The author told me he gets that a lot, and also people who think his book is about singing. But I knew his book wasn't about James Brown the singer because is dead. Maybe he gets confused with them. Well they don't look the same. Plus James Brown is a very common name.

A few people were going to his engagement that was for the whole school a little bit later after class. It was too late for me, and plus I didn't give any notice. I was already a little late from getting the book signed. Not too late only like 15-20 minutes.

I think he wrote "My best to you!". I'm not sure I really can't make it out. He writes kind of illegible/scribbly. I was trying to decipher the message in the bus.

I was thinking about writing an Earth Day blog about the environmental fair my high school threw in 1999. That's a funny story too. If you really want to read an Earth Day related blog you can read the one I wrote last year about Reel Big Fish. Oh yeah and I heard some Dramarama today. "Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday to whoever's being born."

Guess what!? Career Advisor is calling my cell phone now! Well it's not as bad as calling my home phone number. My cell has caller ID. I just see the number and ignore it.

Speaking of Shirley did you read the poem she posted on facebook? Is that about her?

Super Bowl, Super Blog

In observance of the Super Bowl I'm taking to day off from blogging.

A Football Blog

I didn't really think about this today until I watched The Price is Right this morning. I forgot there was going to be football themed episode in honor of CBS showing the Super Bowl this year. I mean every time CBS gets to show it "Nipplegate" just comes to mind. I think this was one of the things Drew talked about when he wanted the fans to suggest a showcase.

Football was the theme on a lot of shows today. It just goes to show that it is one of America's most popular sports.

I was thinking about last year when that Conan O'Brien Bud Light commercial premiered. If Conan is reading this blog or his people are I'm going to throw out another idea for him why not make more commercials? They could be foreign or domestic.

You know there a few similarities between Conan O'Brien and Chevy Chase. Let's see they were both in Super Bowl commercials. They both hosted a late night show that lasted for less than a year; although Conan's lasted about 5 times as long as Chase's. They both worked on Saturday Night Live.

You know what annoys me is when people write "Super Bowel" instead of "Super Bowl". Why do people add the letter "e" to words when it doesn't belong? For example they spell the word "damn" as "dame".

Oh yeah for anybody throwing a Super Bowl party I have a fun tip for you. Buy some of those fancy M&Ms in team colors and display them in large clear bowls.

Free Day!

It's been a while since I had one. Not since last year. Ok ok lame joke right? I haven't had one since September. Not since my parents went to my grandma's house to get that junky Buick that belonged to my dad's dead uncle. Seriously I could write a long ranting blog about how junky that car is. But this is not the blog for that.

Since today is a free day I get a little excited because I don't know where to start or what to do. There are so many things. None of which involve chores or cleaning. I figure it's my time to "be lazy". I like being alone and having a house to myself. I like being alone; maybe that's an only child thing. It's fun to be a bachelorette for like a day.

Here are some of the things I did: sang "Why Do You Love Me" aloud, ate sweets for breakfast, decoupaged, watched Absolute Garbage, drank sweet strong tea, ate cheese, wrote in my diary, and trimmed my nails.

I invented a new sandwich a few days ago. It's a toasted cheese sandwich. Here's what you use. First you need some cheese spread. I used port wine flavor because that's what we had. First you toast the bread. Just used was what around, so I used plain white bread. Then I used the cheese spread instead of butter, margarine or cream cheese, and put the 2 pieces together. Maybe I should try one with aresol cheese.

I was thinking about working on my Halloween costume. It's never too early to plan, but then I thought I should start planning after my birthday. Perhaps if I start in January I will actually finish a costume. Something that I didn't hastily put together in 3 days.

I decided that I'd spurge in February and buy my self a little present. I do have something in mind. It's a secret until I buy it. ;)

For some reason I can't find any pictures online of the Sanrio character Roberta. She is a bear character. I had a picture of her, but I lost it when the hard drive broke.

I wanted to see how long it would be before I used the banned word. The "t-word". I was trying to think of a replacement word. First thought I could use the word "chirp", but then I remembered that is what the Boost Mobile phones do. Especilaly when ham eating pigs use them. It took me 2 days. 2 days! Damn! >:(

Since my dad went to my grandma's (his mom) visiting. I've written about her before. She is the one who conditioned my
blond obsession. When he came back with the presents from her I was dreading what they were. She is notorious for giving bad gifts. This deserves it's own blog too. Well at least she didn't put her cat in a box a wrap it.

I was very disappointed by Cena's appearance at the Fiesta Bowl. I mean it was nice to see him and all. He got so little screen time. I was hoping they would interview him for the pregame show or something. I mean he has a football background. He could have even plugged Wrestlemania or something. He looked good though. He cleaned up well. He was dressed in a suit. I liked his tie. He looks so out of place in dressy clothes. I'm so use to seeing him in jean shorts and a t-shirt. I mean he's one of the few wrestlers who are exempt from the "suit rule"; The Undertaker is another one. The feed kept cutting off. My dad kept blaming it on Time Warner. I have no idea why; we get Fox OTA (over the air). He just has to complain about something he knows nothing about.

The funny thing was I had cheese at every meal. It was like that time I had bacon for every meal one day when we were in the process of moving.

Aside from the blog about the junky Buick and the blog about the horrible gifts my paternal grandmother gives. I have have material for a blog about those funnel cake sticks and a full review of that bear speaker pillow. Oh yeah and if you want to see some bad Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fan art or read some bad fan fics that I did between the ages of 9 though 11. I'll post them here if you want me to. Just leave me a comment.
