Michael Ian Black Entertains Me To No End

Michael Ian Black brought much joy into the hearts of his Twitter followers today when he began tweeting every move of the Asian man sitting next to him on his cross country flight today.

Tweet Your Heart Out

There is a problem with my phone when I try and type a web address it puts spaces between the letters and can't get to the site. I have to pay more now. The plan I had is not available with this phone. At least I get unlimited web, so I can "tweet my heart out". IDK I thought that was a funny phrase.

The football game getting postponed messed up my tv watching and internet schedule. I'm surprised that NBC decided to carry the game on Tuesday and not give it to ESPN. I heard NBC is getting good ratings with football.

I might get a free day soon. ^0^ I'm making plans in case I do. I think I'll reenact scenes from music videos in my room. I think I'll reenact "Sex is not the Enemy" or maybe "Underneath it All".

I'm sad about the passing of Teena Marie. I'm not trying to make myself into a Teena Marie fan. I only know 2 of her songs; "Lovergirl" and "Behind the Groove". I really like "Lovergirl". I think I mentioned it in a blog once. Maybe it was one of my old myspace blogs? I'll need to look.

Miscellaneous tv blog

I saw the first episode of Angel's Friends. I'm not as confused about the show as I use to be. The angels and devils have to take turns influencing the human who has free will and the choice is ultimately theirs. They go to school on earth, but they learn angel or devil things. Miki had to repeat her first year.

I'm wondering how Shit My Dad Says does in the ratings. If it's a hit or a flop. Or somewhere in between. Maybe it will inspire more people like me in hopes of posting something on the internet and getting their own tv show.

One of the local channels has been showing a Portuguese dub of Thundercats. It's interesting. It was the same channel I saw Kyojuu Tokusou Juspion on. I think the Thundercats cartoons are ripped or something. They also show the old Famous Studios Superman cartoons and Galaxy Trio. The Galaxy Trio cartoons have a Boomerang watermark on them.

Silence into Fear

That title sounds like the title of a Miss Mallard episode or something.

My dad got worried because somebody from his school. I guess a fellow classmate said he knew all this stuff about my dad like where he use to live and stuff. This person also referenced me. I think my dad wanted me to shut down my facebook account.

For the record I'm not shutting anything down. I know I write about facebook, but I have never openly gave out the URL on here or anywhere else. I didn't really do it for safety reasons it was more about being pestered by people I went to high school with. Like I was on myspace. Twitter will still be open. My abandoned myspace will still be open. This blog will still be open.

If the person wants the real nitty gritty he should read the blog. Especially the rant blog. That's where all the "bad stuff" lies. The main blog is where I talk about inane things like Garbage music, cartoons I watch, food reviews, and things I get nostalgic for.

Actually my dad doesn't get that people can find stuff on people on the internet so easily. I know I did one time about myself and a few of my other family members for free. I could have seen more, but I had to pay $50. If he has been plastering his resume all over the job sites of course somebody can find it and reference it. Potential employer or otherwise. This is more of his problem than mine well he said the person mentioned me, but I'm not really worried.

For some reason my twitter is not working. I think there are overall problems with the site, and it's not just me. My whole page is blank! Except for the Doremi background.

Yesterday I was watching J-Melo on UTB/NHK World, and they had a ska band on there called OreSkaBand. They are really good, but I'm a sucker for ska music. Isn't ska in its 4th wave? I really wish there was a book or tv series on the California ska scene of the 80s and 90s.

The Urban Juror

I almost stepped on a stillborn cat fetus in the driveway. This won't be the first feline I'd see today. It really grossed me out.

I was almost late there. It was hard to find what I needed in my backpack because there was, so much stuff crammed in there. A lot of people didn't fill out their forms, or know that you had to. As I was going through security I was hoping my gel pens would not be confiscated, and they weren't.

When I see there is internet in the courthouse. I squatted out the computer. I start looking up cat stillbirths. According to what I read it's pretty common, and the mother cat or "queen" immediately knows when her baby comes out if it's dead or not. There was a large sign up that said not to look at porn, phish, gamble, or other bad stuff. I was trying to get on twitter, but it was over capacity at that time. I didn't want to do much. I mean like logon to my accounts, and forget to logoff. The person who used the computer before me forgot to sign out of their hotmail account.

After I surrendered the computer due to being bored, and having to use the bathroom. I started reading Tokyo Mew Mew. I can read through one of those volumes in like 30-45 minutes. By volume 2 I was getting bored and antsy. (not because Tokyo Mew Mew is boring) I was hoping somebody would put the Laker parade on, but it was just a Spanish morning talk show, and then World Cup coverage. Why should I expect there to be something on in English? When it was about 10AM I decided to find some radio coverage like when I listened to the radio coverage of the 2002 Angels parade. The coverage was ok, but a parade is a visual thing. Most of it was just audio clips of the different games and old interviews. I was super bored. World Cup was still on. At about 11 somebody tried to stream the parade off the KABC website, but it wasn't streaming well. Most of the time it was a static image of somebody holding a trophy. I couldn't even make out who the person was.

This tweet was written incorrectly it was suppose to say "WCS is on but I'd rather watch the parade". "WCS" stands for World Cup Soccer.

After I was excused for lunch I really wanted to write outside. I hadn't done it in 2 years. I was going to, but I wanted to find the shopping center that the jury person talked about. As I'm making my way through the park looking around to see what was there and the ducks in the lake. Here is a picture of 2 of them.
Most of them looked like domestic white ducks. Maybe the white ones came from the Barnyard Zoo? There were a few brown ones. After I took the picture of them I was approached by some random lady in the park. She addressed me as "Juror", and asked me if I wanted a kitty. Of course I didn't want it, but how could I have taken a kitty into the courthouse anyway? Stick it in a bag and have it "meow"? The bag would get x-rayed and security would see a cat skeleton in the bag. Then the cat would have to be let out of the bag literally. Or the cat could end up being smuggled into the jury room, and do cat things like scratch furniture and meow loudly. After I thought about it the situation reminded me of Crazy Cat Lady from The Simpsons. At least the cat wasn't hurled at me like the character does with the cats.

After that confusing encounter with the lady offering a kitty. I started looking for the shopping center to see what was there. Then starts another story of me wandering the streets lost. For awhile I was wandering just looking for the place. I saw there wasn't really anything good there. I decided to go to a 99¢ store. There was nothing good in there. I was tempted to buy a plastic canister filled with hair rubber bands, but I realized there was no room in my backpack. There was also junk food and candy for sale there. The only good thing about going to that store was that the parade was on in there. I didn't stay to watch much since I wasn't buying anything. I wandered around some more seeing a myriad of people, and cars decorated with Laker things. I thought I smelled donuts, but it was misleading. Then I happened to walk by this sandwich shop. At first I wasn't going to buy anything. Then I see this positive review of the place in the window. It was for a pastrami sandwich, but those were too expensive, so I decided to get a cheaper sandwich. There was also a menu in the window, and I saw they sell cheese steak sandwiches there. In the description it said that the sandwich traveled 3000 miles to get there. I had to try one. I ordered one with everything on it except mushrooms. It had mayonnaise, steak, cheese, peppers and onions. As I'm waiting for my older my mom calls. I thought she was those Career Advisor people harassing me. I had to tell her about the kitty. When I got my sandwich it was good, but it needed more mayo, and it was a little spicy. I had indigestion all day. I really didn't have much to compare it to, only the Domino's one. As I was enjoying my sandwich I heard a Garbage song on 98.7 . A different Garbage song, "Only Happy When it Rains". Perhaps they received my complaint? After wandering around I made my way back.

While I was at the park I noticed there was a goose. Sorry no pictures of the goose. It had to be a goose. It was white, larger than the ducks and making a honking noise. It looked like this.
The white ducks reminded me of Scrooge and Darkwing. There were also these other birds that weren't ducks or geese. They were brown and had a pointy beak, but they were about the size of a duck, and they made a strange sound. Good thing there weren't swans there. They can be vicious. I watch enough AVF to know that. I really wanted to write outside even if it was just for a little bit. I thought I'd better get back to the jury room. Before that I went to the bathroom, and I found this funny poem. Feathers die? And who is Vince? The ShamWow! guy? Mr. McMahon? Bad bathroom poetry makes me chuckle. Do guys do this?

After I got back into the jury room I was wandering around without my belt on. I was just holding it. I eventually put it on in the bathroom. More than half of the group was called to be on a case. There were probably about 10 people there including me. Somebody changed the tv to an English station, KCAL. I caught some parade highlights on the news. Then there was a high speed chase being covered, so a lot of people were watching and discussing. I was online looking for stuff on ebay, looking for the best cheese steak in LA, and Tweeting. That is one of my new quests.

The last time I was put on a jury for a flashing case. This time I wasn't used and had to stay until about 3PM. There are some entries about the last time I had to go in the archives. After I was released I wrote outside for a while and watched the ducks. I hadn't written outside in a while. I haven't done it in about 2 years, back when my mom was taking care of my baby cousin. I should really write outside more often.

Now I'm ready to crack the book from my memoir class. I can read it all summer. LOL! @o@

Oh yeah and happy solstice for those who observe it.

They Swing like Pendulums

I had this really strange dream about Shirley and pandas. :/

So I have a project for my sales class, and my mom was wondering why I didn't mention it until today. It's only because I didn't want my dad grossly misinterpreting the assignment. I'm hoping he'll be more preoccupied with his own school work, but I never know.

When I get to school and I'm crossing the street with other bus riders I don't know if they weren't paying attention or what. They almost crossed in front of a fire truck with the sirens blaring. Whoa! We need some type of safety patrol here or something! Where are Slim Goodbody or McGruff when you need them? It reminds me of something that happened at my old school when they were doing construction. People would go through the site. They would ignore the barriers and tape. Stupid!

When I get to my building I see some kids with a tall dinosaur pinata. It had to be at least 3 feet tall, and Rock Band instruments. I wonder what they were going to do with those? I had to break my "no tweeting" rule since I thought it was such a strange and funny sight. I just didn't want to waste my battery.

Today I don't know what was with me, but I was feelin' really prolific. :P

I find out that the due date for my story has been moved up, and it's due next Tuesday. I'm upset because I thought I had time to work on another story. I'm trying not to, but still over thinking about how "childish" my writing seems. Then I thought if I overwork the story it will be bad. I just said "Fuck that!" I'm satisfied with what I turning in, and if other people aren't that's their problem. I put all my heart into that story; worked hard on it. This is no half assed thing. [mark] I was thinking about this tweet I read from John Cena yesterday.
"Well, live by the sword, die by the sword. I just don't want anyone took look back at any moment and say I didn't give my all." [/mark]

Speaking of Cena in my current writing class we have to do some assignment with a picture we choose ourselves. I think it might be similar to an assignment I had to do in my old writing class. I chose that sneaky picture I took of Cena back in 2005. I had to write a poem about the picture. It was really crappy poem. My former creative writing teacher was too focused on poetry.

People in class were changing seats, so I sat in my usual area, and decided that since I was sitting next to different people I was going to be on my best behavior. I hoped they didn't notice I was taking notes on them. I had to do it on the sly. I get a wealth of material from my blog in that class.

I was also thinking about if I worked for Conan, and I drew this silly doodle.
The popular guy usually sets the tone for the class session. It was strange not having him share a story. He is usually the first one to jump at the chance, and I'll graciously surrender.

Somebody mentioned the Smothers Brothers in class and I feel old cause I know who they are. It made me think about yoyos.

Somebody was talking about this book that was written by that other guest who was at the Ferguson taping. The guest who replaced Wayne Newton. That is the only reason I'm familiar with the book's topic. But I was too busy thinking about Shirley. All I can think about is Shirley talking about pendulous breasts. So I'm sitting in class giggling and smiling to myself like an idiot!

Happy Easter Earthquake!

I forgot it was Easter today. Bad me! I don't know I guess it's sort of lost it's whimsical child-like magic. I'm still holding out for that $120 Hello Kitty basket from the Sanrio store. Maybe one year I'll buy one for myself.

I love these Easter themed tweets that Weird Al Yankovic and Conan O'Brien tweeted.

"FYI... a Peeps burrito is not as good as it sounds."-
alyankovic

"I just celebrated the end of Lent by eating 22 sleeves of Peeps. My religion rocks!"- Conan O'Brien

The funny thing is that I haven't eaten Peeps all day. The small box of pink ones are tempting me, but I like my Peeps "aged". I don't have them fight either.

What about that earthquake!? The funny thing is that my mom felt it before I did. I was leaning over on my bed reaching for something. It was long, fluid/wavy, and weak. Well in my area at least. The My Little Ponies I have up that fell during the last quake didn't even topple. The funny thing is I didn't immediately flee like I usually do.

I cut my finger chopping shrimp, so please excuse my bad typing.

I just want to say a quick thing about writing. I don't know why,but I seem to find inspiration for my stories everywhere. It's strange, but in a good way.

Wed and Thurs in Review

The title is a little throwback/reference to the old "Week in Review" blogs I use to post on myspace when I went to school. They are in the same vain as the miscellaneous blogs. You know the same concept. Well most of the time they had creative titles, but when I couldn't think of one I just called it "Week in Review". Have I posted one in the archives? The tentative title was "Lookout Weekend" that would have been my second blog this month titled after an 80s song. "Computer Love" was the other.

I'll try to refrain from making this a rant blog although my dad has been pissing me off in the past few days a lot. Anyway he's thinking I'm being neglectful about things I'm not.

Wed:

In class the teacher was talking about how she is an infomercial/as seen on tv junkie. She says she owns like all the products. So she starts talking about Ron Popeil AKA Ronco. Nobody in the class seemed to know or remember who he is. I started mentioning some of his products including the spray on hair. (when I mentioned this the class laughed at me) This was a real product; look it up. Honestly it's no different than the funky colored ones you can buy during Halloween in colors like pink and green. Actually when I was a kid I use to like watching his infomercial for his food dehydrator. I would imagine myself making massive amounts of beef jerky.

I watched Olympic men's hockey, and I felt bad about it because I was boycotting NBC's coverage of the games. I didn't watch much though. I needed my after school nap.

My dad was complaining about the the rules at his new school. Seriously how could he not know know he was going to have to wear scrubs? It's a medical trade school. Really? He is No Scrubs ;) :P

He was also mad because they are giving him a backpack with wheels which he deems a "kid's backpack". Actually my spare had wheels, so that would be no help to him. He wouldn't use a Powerpuff Girls one either. It would be funny imagining him using one. Actually all my "plain" backpacks broke, and I threw them out when I moved.

I managed to find Conan O'Brien on Twitter. Yay! I should celebrate by "string dancing". :P
Speaking of Twitter since my phone is broken I will refrain from Tweeting on my phone for now.

There is a message board for my writing class, and I'm very reluctant to post on it. It's funny because I love writing on message boards. I guess it's because I willingly join those others. I know I'm not good at introducing myself pretty much anywhere online or in person. Plus she would like us to post a photo of ourselves. "No thank you". Plus what would I even say?

Thurs:

My dad was getting mad at me because I keep trying to take stuff out of my backpack to make space. I've written this before, but I need all the backpack space I can get. I don't even take a purse to school anymore. It's just a hassle and it takes up a lot of valuable backpack space.

Before I got to class I was looking for a bathroom in the building. I wanted to apply my gloss in there. I hard the hardest time finding a bathroom in that building. I should lay off the gloss though Dr. Oz said so.

I did manage to get a better seat; didn't end up sitting by that annoying couple. I let them annoy somebody else. They kept talking about their names. It was pretty funny, or at least I thought it was. I wonder if by the end of the semester they get so annoying nobody will want to sit by them?

Being in my class and seeing all the older people in there makes me wonder if I will be an old scholar. You know right now I think the one thing I'm best at is being a student. No Joke!

My knee is hurting a lot. I think this storm will be pretty hard.

I went back to that class message board. I've read some of the messages, but for now I'm just a lurker. :P
You'll have to coax me to do it. Plus I can't think of anything funny, witty, or interesting to say. :/

New Year New Blog (post)

I'm going to be working on this blog throughout the day.

First off I want to say that after seeing the tag #10yearsago on twitter it prompted me to read my old dairy from 10 years ago when I wrote about new years eve 1999 and new years day 2000. Most of the entry from 1999 was about watching New Years celebrations all over the world.

My song of 1999 was...guess; ok it was "New" by No Doubt.

I wrote about Letterman's predictions. (For some reason they are hard to read on the official CBS site. Just highlight them)

What the hell I'll just post them here. But now looking back at them them were just dumb I don't know why I thought they were so funny. I was 15 and stupid.

Top Ten Effects of Y2K

Stuff's gonna 'splode. The Big Dipper will fall out of the sky and kill a guy in Sweden.

Everyone's voice will suddenly sound exactly like mine. Michael Jackson will finally look in the mirror and say, "My God, what the hell is wrong with me?" There will be a new letter added to the English alphabet--"Ngeepee." A computer glitch will force Bill Gates to pay off every American's credit card. No more answering the phone by saying: "Yello!"

Every kid will lose interest in that Pokemon crap. Ricky Martin will become even more "mantastic." Despite assurances from high-ranking officials that it could not happen, refuting decades of conventional scientific wisdom, flying the in the face of smug predictions by so-called experts, Kraft Macaroni & Cheese will become even cheesier. On the plus side, kitties will be slightly cuter.
Dog and cats will have to be re-neutered. That Regis show will be called "Who Wants A Gallon of Pure Water and Some Ammo?" Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen will grow 50 feet tall and begin eating people. Even if you're wearing neither shirt nor shoes, you may actually get service. The "g" in "gnome" will no longer be silent. Wednesday and Thursday will switch places.

ATM machines will now dispense cash in "original" or "mesquite barbecue." Census computers will change every name in America to Tony Danza. Jumping on a trampoline will no longer be fun. The sun won't work until next Thursday. Let's just say Ellen and Anne will be back on our team again. Those aliens they're storing in Area 51 will come back to life, and boy will they be pissed. Let's just say you folks in Iowa better know how to swim.

Ok enough about what I thought about 10 years ago. You know what if I'm not buy in April I have a fun little blog I'll post reminiscing about something that happened to me 10 years ago.

The New Years Eve show on Fox was pretty bad. Showing highlights from the Billboard awards from the past decade? Tell me if you know what is wrong with that statement? The award ceremony hasn't been televised since 2006. That was the last year. So they'd only have 6 years of moments. Well at least it's better than the shows they had been showing the previous few years that were just promoting their bowl games. Fox what happened to you!? You use to be so edgy remember that? I miss when they use to have Penn and Teller.

I didn't make any resolutions this year because I usually break them anyway. I think my record is 3 days. I was on a diet for 3 days. This was a long time ago though back when I was in junior high. The ushering in of a new year does not dictate that you should improve yourself. Anyway I'm still working on; having better hair, dressing more age appropriate, finishing college, and committing to a major.

The funny thing about a new year is that starting on the first pretty much everything is "last year". Too bad you can't have "items from the future". Then you would never have things that are "last year".

Oh goody! The list of banned words it out. I'll make sure not to use them. Oh! Too late! I already did in one of my tags! DAMN! >:( For the record nobody should use the word "chillaxin'" ever! Not even the 4Kids dub Musa. (Let me throw up now). If you use the word "transparent"/"transparency" in it's correct usage is it bad? Ex: Do you have a transparency for the overhead projector? Well in 2008 I almost did it, but started using the word "random" towards the end of the year. (Bad Me!)

I'll leave you with one last thought. How long will it be before getting nostalgic for the 90s becomes common place? Especially since the 90s kids are entering college now. I've been nostalgic for it since about 2003. As long as I don't end up on a make over show because I'm accused of "living in the 90s". *whispers* I never really left it. LOL! :P
