Since Steve Jobs died the hipsters are sad. I should wear a really tacky outfit to commemorate his death. Damn I don't have any printed scarves or loafers.

I need to get out my LISA. J/K that was the only Apple product I ever used, and I used it in school. And then I thought about the Super Bowl and the wondrous ads. "Because 1984 won't be like 1984."

I feel like watching some Eureka Seven.

I wrote this on a PC which might possibly be riddled with viruses.

Club Two-Seven

I have a great idea for a Halloween costume Lauren Zizes from Glee. But how would I dress like her. If I did make a Lauren costume would anybody know who I was dressed as, or just think I was just wearing lipstick, glasses and regular clothes. (I think Lauren is up there with my Meg Griffin costume. They are both pretty ambiguous)

Sexy podium-small cardboard podium in the front, back less shirt, and hot pants or a thong.
Sexy Alex Trebek (a sexy version of any man who wears a suit)- hot pants, thigh highs, garters, high shoes, and lots of cleavage.

Now another one came to me unexpectedly Amy Winehouse

My mom didn't know who she was, and I really need that mom celebrity translator from SNL. She's talking about her, and I have no idea what is going on. I was idly watching The Monkees. ;P Davy in a wig as a girl LOL!

Am I like the only one who thought the writing was on the wall with Winehouse? Or am I just stupid and insensitive? :/ *shrug*

I was trying to explain to my parents about the soulful UK singer movement with Winehouse, Duffy and Adele. There is probably somebody else I'm forgetting. I'm writing this by memory. My parents have no idea what I'm talking about.

Really people do you need to retweet everything that celebrities about the passing of Winehouse? Stop cluttering up my timeline!

I didn't think about her being 27 and those other singers who died at 27. Until my dad brought it up, and people were tweeting about this.

Rene Goguen, Mandy Moore, LeBron James, and me. Those are other celebrities could possibly die at 27 since they are all 27 right now. I don't count because I'm not famous. Unless I was one of those people that died, and then became famous.

Prism Fly

Former First Lady Mrs. Ford died in honor of her death kick back a stiff one and listen to "Raise Your Glass" the Warblers cover.

I was watching Angel’s Friends and the more I watch it the more it reminds me of Winx Club. (aside from the English voice actors)

Bloom and Raf’s color is a shade of blue. Although some claim that Bloom’s is teal. They come from a “mysterious” origin. Bloom’s was the destruction of Sparx/Domino . Raf’s was having an angel mother and a mortal father. Both of them have some problem why they can’t reach another advanced form. They “force” it to happen.

Prism Fly is that every angel and devil has a chromatic essence. On the angels Prism Fly looks mysteriously similar to Enchantix. Urie’s wings look more like Belelivix. Although the female devils get very elegant outfits which don’t seem very devilish at all. They look like something in between Disenchantix and Enchantix. The male devils outfits just look like fancy casual clothes. They are not sparkly. Why was Cabiria's color blue?

I’d buy a set of official DVDs of Angel's Friends (English dub or sub) for a reasonable price.

Peter Falk died. When I heard he did the name sounded familiar, but I was drawing a blank. I had to look up who he was online. He played Columbo. I use to watch that show sometimes in reruns. LA looked so much different back then. It was so much sparser. Not to sound mean, but I thought he was already dead before this. To anybody looking for a Halloween costume idea thee is one right there.

It made me think of the Lupin the 3rd second series (red coat) episode The Skateboard Murder Mystery. That is a really funny episode. Especially the scene at the football game.

I'm still working on the opposite. I did muster up and reapply to that place they haven't called back, but I'm looking at this with a carefree attitude more than a cynical one.

I heard this beauty tip on tv to wash the front 3rd of my hair if I don't have time. It doesn't work unless I have a detachable spray head shower. That was really bad advice.

Is flat hair back is style again? Has scene hair left the scene? (bad pun)

I know a lot of people say This tv is a bad channel, and doesn't have much to watch on it. I like to watch the Cookie Jar programs they show, Mister Ed, and Pink Panther cartoons.

silent reading time = nap

Geraldine Ferraro died today. The funny thing is that my high school history teacher expected my class to remember when she ran with Walter Mondale of course we didn't because this happened around the time we were born! How much should I remember from 1984? *shifty eyes*

Just remember that she pre-dated Palin by many years. (Some people were saying that Palin was the 1st woman to run on a major party national ticket)

Is there something wrong with me because I don't like US history? Does that make me un-American? I spaced out during the last 2 US History classes I took.

Let's have 30 minutes silent reading time! I need a nap!

purple eyes and pork chops

Elizabeth Taylor died. I wonder if she is hanging out with Micheal Jackson? I wonder what happened to Gypsy the elephant?

I'm trying to come up with a name for the pork chop sandwich I invented. What about a chop sandwich? Or a PC sandwich?

I'm happy that dark roots are in style. I'm already wearing that look. I think it's called "ombre". Red hair is back in style too. 1996 throwback! I can pull that off. I'm upset that the side part is back in style. Those always make my cheeks look fat.

There is now a video shortage because of the tsunami. On tv they were saying that they were going to wipe the tapes to save tapes, but can't the footage be digitally archived? It's not like the 1970s when stuff was erased (especially game shows) and nobody else had it except for maybe some person with one of those "new " VCR things.

Tweet Your Heart Out

There is a problem with my phone when I try and type a web address it puts spaces between the letters and can't get to the site. I have to pay more now. The plan I had is not available with this phone. At least I get unlimited web, so I can "tweet my heart out". IDK I thought that was a funny phrase.

The football game getting postponed messed up my tv watching and internet schedule. I'm surprised that NBC decided to carry the game on Tuesday and not give it to ESPN. I heard NBC is getting good ratings with football.

I might get a free day soon. ^0^ I'm making plans in case I do. I think I'll reenact scenes from music videos in my room. I think I'll reenact "Sex is not the Enemy" or maybe "Underneath it All".

I'm sad about the passing of Teena Marie. I'm not trying to make myself into a Teena Marie fan. I only know 2 of her songs; "Lovergirl" and "Behind the Groove". I really like "Lovergirl". I think I mentioned it in a blog once. Maybe it was one of my old myspace blogs? I'll need to look.

miscellaneous blog #33

No lazy memoir today.

I have such a hard time shopping. My mom and my shopping styles clash. She is a driver and I'm an expressive. Except when I'm buying electronics; I'm an analytical. I've been sold too many bad electronics. I need to buy some supplies for my Halloween costume. It's already July, and I need supplies. Well the supplies I can get now. I think I might have to pick up a white turtle neck in a few months.

I'm going to post this question on the blog. If you something broke (like a cell phone or such something replaceable) and you didn't have the money at the moment to replace it. Would you "beg, borrow or steal"? to get another one?

I bought some of these gummi raspberries at the mall. I didn't like them.

Have you seen clips of this show Photon? It's freaky. I don't remember this show since it came out in 1986. It looks pretty cheesey. There is not much I can find about the series on the internet. Matt did review it on X-E a while ago. Which makes me wonder what the live action American version of Sailor Moon would have been like? I was thinking about that Sailor Moon episode "VR Madness" (I'm using the dub title). Which make me think about an idea I had a few years ago for a haunted VR/laser tag arcade. Ok, I got the idea from watching that Sailor Moon episode.

Didn't George Stenibrenner find a fitting day to pass away on? The MLB All Star Game, and a year an American League team is hosting. I thought about how he was portrayed on Seinfeld and voiced by Larry David. I was gonna use a quote from "The Jimmy" episode, but it was too long. Here is a quote from "The Muffin Tops" "How do you make that alcoholic chicken?".

I actually watched part of the game. I really wasn't planning to. I only wanted to see Amber Riley/Mercedes from Glee sing the national anthem. Too bad Gwen didn't do it. She is an Anaheim native. After all these years the National League team won an All Star Game. They hadn't won since 1996! I was 12 back then.

Drivers License Needed

I was on a different job website, and almost all the jobs on there were for sample givers and merchandise stockers. It's not that I think I'm too good for those or something; it's just that they need their own car. They need to drive themselves, and their supplies to the different stores in the area. I can't do that; due to my lack of a drivers license. And I have to know how to read a plannogram.

Going to my interview tomorrow. Wish me luck! ^-^

Robert Byrd died. I don't want to get too much into politics, but he gets a blurb in my blog. Since it is a celebrity death.

So Steve Carell is leaving The Office.
"That's what he said!" I'll wear some fun jeans and eat some "za" from Sbarro. Too bad Michael is one of my favorite characters besides Pam and Dwight. I think I like Dwight the best. The show will probably die if it goes on for another season after he leaves. Remember what happened with Scrubs? I rest my case.

Where were You?

Anybody know what today is? The anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson. Funny thing is that I associate it with some long ass interleague baseball game my dad was pretending not to follow on the computer. The blog I wrote was about other celebrity deaths that happened and not just Micheal's. And I took a nap. I really wanted to go online to find out about what was happening. I just had to get my info from tv and the radio. I saw the tv coverage after my mom told me. I was still pissed off at my dad for hogging the computer. I remember seeing the ambulance on tv. I also remember seeing all the people crying on street corners and blasting his music.

In his memory today I sung the chorus of "You are not Alone".

The funny thing is that I usually associate world events with other random things that happened that day. Except for September 11th. Let's see I associate the Gulf War and the January 16, 1991 air strike with the late birthday present I revived from my uncle in the mail that day. It was a My Little Pony! Actually I was going to write that story for my memoir class. That was one of writing exercises in one of the books we used. The exercise was to write about a major world event. One of those "Where were you?" type stories. Of course I don't remember WWII, Korea, Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam, Iran hostage crisis, death of John Lennon, Iranian Revolution, and the Adam Walsh murder. I wasn't born back then, silly! I barely remember the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989 or much of the cold war.

My dad told me that one of the places I applied for was on fire. The funny thing is I can't find anything about it. Not online, or on the local news. He has a tendency to make up stories for attention, and to try and discourage me as much as possible. I take most of what he says with a grain of salt. But if you do come across a story about it pass it along. *yelling* I need logical research!

Something my dad has been lacking in for awhile; even though he demands I do it. >:(

Miscellaneous blog #32

I took the weekend off from blogging.

I have a celebrity death to report Jimmy Dean has died. So eat some sausage in his honor. Unless you hate it. If you do ignore that statement. (This was not meant to be of a sexual nature)

Ok now that I got all my bases covered with that let’s move on. How was that finals game? It was pretty intense at the end. I’ll end up having no eyebrows. I superstitiously pluck my eyebrows during the finals if the Lakers make it that far in a season.

I don’t follow soccer/football. As to not confuse the readers. I tried to back in 1994 when the World Cup was being held in the USA. It was really close too. It was being held at the Rosebowl. Back then I collected the pogs with the different countries names on them. I bet I still have a few of them lying around somewhere…
(picture found on ebay)I still really don’t know the rules of soccer. @.@

If my writing was represented by a food it would be
donuts and cheese. Quirky yet something people think wouldn’t really go together.

Since my summer has sort of officially started. I'm not going to say it officially has until I serve my jury duty next week. What should I wear? A "costume"? I want to wear something wacky. What will I do with my time besides looking for work? Making homespun DVDs! ^0^ And probably writing in my journal.

Reflections on Reflections

I'm sick of reflecting and evaluating! This is the 3rd time I've had to write something like that for the same class. I have nothing left to say. I do, but it's kind of mean. It's not something I'd want the teacher to read. It's not a slam book or anything like that. I figured that if I looked at what I had written about the other people in class in my blog and on paper. Maybe I can piece something together. It's due on Thurs.
When I was thinking about the assignment. This funny Engrish poem came to mind. Did I post this before?

I forgot to mention that the people in class want to bring presents. In case anybody from class is reading this. Look through my blog to see what I like. What would I get somebody else? :/

Later I find out that we are supposed to share something but I'm not sure what. The instructions were vague. I think it can be something we didn't write. Perhaps I should write a joke will? Like I mentioned before. What about song lyrics? Maybe I'll just write a few things like 3, and bring all of those to class and decide which one I want to use on that day. I'm not reciting the lyrics to "Under Construction" by No Doubt I already did that before in a different class.

John Wooden died today. I thought he was 94; he was 99. That is really old. I think he was in my dead pool.

Girls Write Shit

I was going to write about there being 2 more classes left, and reflecting, and all that good stuff. I'll get to that later in the blog. I was going to write about that or basketball.
Here is some funny graffiti I saw in the bathroom. Love the commentary. Guys wouldn't write commentary like that.

Ok now onto basketball. The Lakers and Celtics are meeting in the Finals for the 3rd consecutive time in a row. Each team has one title Celtics '08 and Lakers '09.

Speaking of basketball Wooden is in grave condition. How old is that guy?

Speaking of celebrity deaths Rue McClanahan died. Betty White (Rose) is the only Golden Girl left. Blanche was one of my favorite characters in the show.

Now onto school. When I got to class nobody was there for a long time. I thought class was canceled. I rocked out to some Garbage for like 15 minutes.

I was worried that my final would not be held in the same room. This has happened to me before I just had to ask to be sure. I've been in college for about 8 years. I'm like a seasoned veteran.

Remember that portfolio I worked so hard putting together? I turned it in like I was supposed to. Then somebody else in the class tells me they didn't do it. Why tell me? What can I do? Really? That just confused me.

That popular guy didn't come to class today. Everybody loves him and such. As a joke I wrote this in response to his absence. *ack* *heart attack* (that wasn't supposed to rhyme.) No momentum. Seriously he sets the tone and momentum for the class.

Saw the cover of the project I handed over. Not something I would make, but it wasn't in my hands anymore. So Kudos to her for doing it! I would not have been able to handle it. She did do it by hand and not with software eventually.

For the final people in the class were getting crazy. They wanted to have a party with breakfast foods. I'm like "Ok...What?!". I think there was too much rapid talking, and it got out of hand. Some people wanted to come to class in pajamas. I'm not leaving the house in those. I want my hair to look good in case pictures are taken. Somebody even wanted to play games. That's cool...I guess... As long as we don't play Heads Up 7 Up. I hate that game!

My mom convinced me to bring pastries or something like that, I'm cheap and don't want to spend a lot of money. I should really ask everybody else what they are going to bring.

Editing and Interviews

I was perplexed by Shirley's latest appearance on Ferguson. To be honest, and I'm not making fun of her or anything she just seemed off. She looked great though. Loved her hair. Unfortunately that is a hairstyle I cannot steal from her. She did say she got married. At the courthouse of all places. When she said she was there among the teenage brides just put a funny visual in my head. :P Does that mean she got married to Billy? I'm not going to try and pry into her private life. The part about the puppet was really funny. When she said that her acting coach told her to not be like the robot she played on tv was funny. The thing I liked about her playing Cathrine Weaver is that it was such a contrast from her personality. I still think of her as a musician first, and an actress second. I've mentioned this many times before.

I have another celebrity death to report Dennis Hopper has died. That ends another cycle of three. Hopper, Coleman, and Linkletter.

I forgot to mention this in my last blog, but a lot of people are getting really fancy with their final writing portfolio by binding it and stuff like that. I was just going to hit up the dollar store, and buy a folder to put my work in. I'm getting frustrated with the amount of pages I put into it. The stories I submitted for the class book were stories I wanted to tell, but they were clunkers in the grammar department.

I'm having a hard time editing my work. I don't know; I really don't want to cut out the flowery stuff. I thought people like that kind of stuff. As long as it's descriptive, but not fatty. I'm working hard to meet the 30 page requirement. My teacher told me to include the stories I submitted to the class book, but they were clunkers.

Cut my hair again. It needed a little trim. Not sure what I will do with it. It does need a dye.

Prawns and Ribs

Gary Coleman died today. Here is a funny celeb spotting story about him circa 1994. I saw him at a Kay Bee store in Burbank. Where is my galaxy of prawns? "Three prawns are hardly a galaxy!".

I’m going to celebrate the end of the semester by buying myself fries and cream soda. These foods are very symbolic to me. I might try the BK ribs, but I don't know they kind of seem like a rip off to me. I heard they are really small like the size of a McNugget. Why didn't BK try to corner the rib market by making some type of rib sandwich? Their selling point could be that it will be available all year as opposed to the McRib.

I'm revising my "bucket list". I think it's going to have tiers. The top tier would still be the things I had on the last one I wrote. Which are: riding on an airplane and meeting Gwen Stefani. The second tier would be things I really want to accomplish, but if I knew I was going to die soon I wouldn't be so upset I didn't do them. Which are: move away from parents, learn to drive, get a Vespa, get a masters degree, and have my own tv show, meet Conan O'Brien. I don't know what my third tier would be. I haven't worked that out yet. I might never end up leaving the county. That sounds like something Bryan Ryan would say.

I'm going to spend my whole weekend editing my stories for class, and reading grammar handbooks. Who knew commas can only be used properly 6 different ways? I think I only use them correctly 1/3 of the time. I mean look at how I use commas on this blog.

I got an email for the memoir class. The fun thing to do when I get group emails from people I know is to try to figure out who the addresses belong to. Perhaps some people have figured out mine. My problem is that I don't like to use my real name in an address. I think it's more fun to get creative, but it's not very businesslike. What if they put it together and mange to find this blog? :/

Lame Vampire Story

I have another celebrity death to report Art Linkletter has died. Here is a screencap from the live action intro to the cartoon The Snow Queen. I hope this upcoming summer doesn't take a huge blow to the celebrity community.

I woke up with a really stiff neck. All I wanted to do was look down. I felt like Elaine in "The Seven" except all she wanted to do was look up. Luckily I didn't have to see if somebody was wearing the same dress all the time or not. My neck pain had been on and off all day.

Nothing particularly interesting happened at school. I ran into somebody from my other class after using the bathroom. I'm so silly when people call out my name I look around to see if there is somebody else they are talking to since my name is so common. I couldn't see the person very well because they were blocked by a pole.

Here are some post Glee thoughts. I teared up watching this last episode. During the scene with Rachel and Shelby singing "Poker Face". The part about the vampires was funny. When I was in junior high and high school vampires were sort of popular. I'm pretty sure the Twilight books weren't out back then. I don't know I don't follow that Twilight stuff. Anyway there was this one girl who was obsessed with vampires and read books about them and stuff. One time as a joke in English class I decided to write a vampire story. It was really lame too. It was about this girl who was really annoying, but didn't know her neighbors were vampires. I think it was inspired by an episode of Goosebumps I saw or something. Everybody else in the class got mad at me for writing such a lame story. Except for the girl who was into vampires. I thought Tina dressed more punk than goth. Doesn't she wear plaid? Enough about comparing my school stories to something that happened in the fictional world of Glee. Too bad Sue wasn't in it. I think she would have made the episode better/interesting.

I forgot to mention Shirley Manson will be a guest on the Late Late show on either the 28th or 29th of May. I'm not sure of the date, and sadly cannot go to the taping. :(

Never is a Promise

So the 3rd person has died Paul Gray from Slipknot. I don't really know much about that band besides that they wear jumpsuits, have numbers and wear masks. The only song I know by them is "Wait and Bleed".

The spirit of impudence has overcome me again.

In class I didn't want to get the shit bored out of me. I didn't want to have to take reduced notes. I get so much material in there. That boring couple ended up sitting next to me well the guy. They are equally boring. I don't discriminate. I didn't want to get trapped into another boring conversation. I was just rocking out to some music before class. I haven't done that in awhile. I use to do it in Rock n Roll history, but that doesn't count since it was a music class. The last time I really rocked out in class was probably around 2003 or 2004. I was still a college noob back then.

After I thought about it I can't wait to read what other people wrote and contribute to the class book.

The boring couple is leaving. They were collecting email addresses. I gave me junk one. >;) >;P (as of posting I have not gotten a message from them) I just want to say for the record that I use a different address on facebook so they can't look me up with that address.

A lot of people are sad that they are leaving. Especially the older students. I wasn't I feel relived. No more boring conversations. Even in the bathroom. The lady would trap me into a boring conversation in the bathroom. I had to stop using the bathroom in that building to avoid them. Now I can pee freely. J/K LOL ;P

Teacher wants everybody to come back. I can't do that unless I immediately fall ass backwards into money or something. She wants us to promise that we will, but I can't afford to lie.

You know what I'm thinking about writing a blog entry about Glee.

Edit: I forgot to mention how my book report went, so nobody was into singing the theme song. I thought they would have been all over that. I ended up singing it by myself... -_-
Last week I was contemplating about buying a little plastic horse at the dollar store cause it looked like Mister Ed, and to use it for a visual aide. I think and hope it went well. It was a more causal setting than my sales presentation. I thought the most important part was that I liked the book.

The Presentation was Over I survived

Let's talk about celebrity deaths Jose Lima died recently. I thought I'd post about him since I know who he was. He was a baseball player, and played for the Dodgers for a while. Also Brittany Murphy's husband died. I'm just gonna mention him cause he was famous.

Ok now let's move onto something else. My sales presentation was today. I was nervous all morning.

This blog is going to reference older blogs. I had written about the bad WWE report I gave. Here is the old blog in the archives about it.

I was dressed like a banker. :P I had to dress nice. I really wanted to wear a Tootsie Roll shirt. That was the candy I was selling. I was wearing the same outfit I wore to the Ferguson taping. I thought I looked sort of professional. It bothered me that I had no pockets, so I had to use my purse. I hate using a backpack and a purse. There is too much bulkiness. After all these years of not using a backpack and purse together using them just feels strange to me. I just kept flicking it.

In class the teacher said my work improved. I was sort of relived and nervous that I was going second to last. I was in class preparing all my stuff. When it was my turn I had to talk about Tootsie Rolls, and eat one in front of the class. It was hard for me to talk of course and everybody was laughing. I gave samples. So did somebody else who presented bottled water. Too bad there weren't any free iphone or macbook samples. :( LOL! @-@ I told the class I give Tootsie Rolls for Halloween and they laughed. I think I did well. Not like an A presentation; maybe a B. But I was more confident than when I gave my WWE presentation.

Also I posted the blog about the bad poem I wrote about John Cena in the archives. I made a reference to it previously in this blog.

Mrs. Post is Dead

Connie Hines died. She played Carol Post in the tv series Mister Ed. No disrespect to Connie and her family, but I thought she was dead. I thought the only surviving member left was Alan Young who played Wilbur Post.
Speaking of Mister Ed and Alan Young while I was watching Mister Ed I was thinking about Shirley. Actually I was thinking about what a good American accent Young did when he played Wilbur. Like Shirley he is from Edinburgh. Later he went on to voice Scrooge McDuck in Mickey's Christmas Carol and Ducktales.

Death and Basketball

I came up with a new theme for a Christmas carol; one about basketball. I'm pretty sure there isn't a basketball themed Christmas carol, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

I was saddened by the death of Brittany Murphy. I'm not a big fan of her or anything, but I have seen some of her work like Clueless, 8 Mile and King of the Hill. Of course my mom didn't know who she was; until I told she was the voice for Luanne. Coincidentally Luanne is one of the cartoon voices I can imitate aside from various Pokemon. Funny that I just mentioned Clueless in my blog last week. It was a big influence to me growing up.
