Elizabeth Taylor died. I wonder if she is hanging out with Micheal Jackson? I wonder what happened to Gypsy the elephant?

I'm trying to come up with a name for the pork chop sandwich I invented. What about a chop sandwich? Or a PC sandwich?

I'm happy that dark roots are in style. I'm already wearing that look. I think it's called "ombre". Red hair is back in style too. 1996 throwback! I can pull that off. I'm upset that the side part is back in style. Those always make my cheeks look fat.

There is now a video shortage because of the tsunami. On tv they were saying that they were going to wipe the tapes to save tapes, but can't the footage be digitally archived? It's not like the 1970s when stuff was erased (especially game shows) and nobody else had it except for maybe some person with one of those "new " VCR things.

Bad Hair Week?

I dyed my hair red today. It's a little darker than Emma's (from Glee) hair. Here's a picture of her.I thought it was going to be more vibrant than it turned out to be. Dye #45 is more vibrant than dye # 42. I know it's gonna turn brassy because of the golden undertones in my hair. I have to dye my hair a color that occurs in nature because I'm looking for work. After this red shade I'm going back to brown. I purchased a dye that is close to my natural hair color.

I'm still worried about bad hair though. I have a really strong feeling that pictures will be taken all week in my memoir class. I need to focus on my hair. Maybe I'm writing about my hair too much again? :/

I still can't stand to look at my work. I wanted to write the Halloween 2009 story for memoir class, but I didn't have time to. When my parents got food poisoning, and I thought they got the flu. And the haphazardly put together Shirley Manson costume I wore.

Editing and Interviews

I was perplexed by Shirley's latest appearance on Ferguson. To be honest, and I'm not making fun of her or anything she just seemed off. She looked great though. Loved her hair. Unfortunately that is a hairstyle I cannot steal from her. She did say she got married. At the courthouse of all places. When she said she was there among the teenage brides just put a funny visual in my head. :P Does that mean she got married to Billy? I'm not going to try and pry into her private life. The part about the puppet was really funny. When she said that her acting coach told her to not be like the robot she played on tv was funny. The thing I liked about her playing Cathrine Weaver is that it was such a contrast from her personality. I still think of her as a musician first, and an actress second. I've mentioned this many times before.

I have another celebrity death to report Dennis Hopper has died. That ends another cycle of three. Hopper, Coleman, and Linkletter.

I forgot to mention this in my last blog, but a lot of people are getting really fancy with their final writing portfolio by binding it and stuff like that. I was just going to hit up the dollar store, and buy a folder to put my work in. I'm getting frustrated with the amount of pages I put into it. The stories I submitted for the class book were stories I wanted to tell, but they were clunkers in the grammar department.

I'm having a hard time editing my work. I don't know; I really don't want to cut out the flowery stuff. I thought people like that kind of stuff. As long as it's descriptive, but not fatty. I'm working hard to meet the 30 page requirement. My teacher told me to include the stories I submitted to the class book, but they were clunkers.

Cut my hair again. It needed a little trim. Not sure what I will do with it. It does need a dye.

Was this Written by a Child?

I wore my hair in Shirley braids to school. I always end up having one braid noticeably longer than the other. The shorter braid was unraveling on me. It looked silly because one braid had one rubber band on the bottom and the other one had three on it.

I have to say one thing about that popular guy in class he is very in tune to the current pop culture. He knows what's going on.

It was peer evaluation day in class. The only thing I was concerned about was not getting stuck in a "crappy" group; where everybody is unprepared. I've been in groups with mostly young people.

Here is a strange comment I got on my writing that it was like the style of a child. I've never really gotten a comment like that before. How I write is just how I write. Does that mean it's bad? Maybe I can use my writing style to my advantage in some way? Maybe my writing has that certain "je ne sais quoi"? I should stop over thinking this. But it did make me think about this old blog I wrote.

After I thought about it maybe I'm not suppose to be in college. Maybe some great fortune will present itself to me. I'm convinced my chopstick will turn out to be a beautiful design. (That's from the morning J-drama I watch)

Too bad my ticket was a loser :( I wanted to win a measurable amount of money and get away from my father. Doesn't matter I probably won't be playing in a while.

Quests and Hairstyles

I think I got carpel tunnel from playing neo so much looking for that stupid negg. I was falling asleep looking for it.

I had a strange dream about Obama. I usually don’t dream about US presidents Living or dead current or former. I was at the White House for some reason. He wasn't really a major part of the dream I think he just waved or something.

I’m wearing my hair in Shirley braids today. Fun hairstyle! ^-^ It took a long time to style them, and one came out longer than the other. Well they were styled haphazardly and quickly. So I quickly repaired the bad hairstyle by putting the braids in a bun. It’s not as noticeable.

Why is it every time I have to do something important my dad had to bother me with his inability to us a computer!? When I’m leaving the house, eating, or in the bathroom. Why can’t he figure it out on his own!?

I’m happy that I got my reading done for my sales class on the bus. It’s just so hard to read though; it’s not difficult just boring. I really wanted to read the assigned reading book for my memoir class. I have about 13-14 days to read it. I think I can manage. The book is enjoyable, and not a chore to read.

The teacher was late (for her) the funny thing was that I forgot the rule. I haven’t been in school for a while. I’m losing my touch! Isn’t it 10 or 15 minutes? It was a good thing she did show up or I’d get reprimanded for wasting bus fare.

All the wannabees, Hoping to be Published

Hello everybody! Yeah...uh sorry for the lack of blog yesterday. I was just feeling really depleted. Like my title? It's inspired by a song lyric. :P

For some reason I was really thinking about my hair. I was having a hard time trying to style it. First I made styled it in a high half up ponytail, but it couldn't stay up well. It was so lopsided. I was embarrassed to leave the house with my hair looking like that. As I was wearing my hair down I noticed it looked very 90s. (late 90s). Then I got the idea to wear my hair in a late 90s style by wearing some clips in my hair in the front. My hair was behaving, looked great, and very 90s. I was also dressed very 90s. I miss the 90s, but don't tell that to Rodney. Alright?

I had this funny thought before class. You can't keep a group of artists together in a room. :P

I'm not really working on writing blogs. I find myself writing reminder notes? Not sure why. Maybe it comes with old age.

Here is something funny. I keep writing about songs in class. I don't know why. Maybe I'm just too into music or something.

That hostile lady who acts like it is her class. I don't know what her deal is is she trying to look smart/impress the class by saying she is well read? To me she is just coming off as a controlling pompous bitch. She talked about her friend who was almost published. Almost published doesn't mean published. Is she trying to impress us or something? I'm not sure what she is trying to say by that. :/

We had this assignment in class where we collected some of our favorite opening lines. I nabbed some from Shirley's blogs. The assignment was not really structured, so I could reference them. Aside from the personality clashes in class the other problem is the lack of structure in the class. I mean with the assignments. There are really no set rules. I like structure most of the time. I'm weird like that; ok?

Speaking of blogs does anybody know where I can find this old blog John Cena wrote back when he had a myspace like 4 years ago. I have hard copies of some of them, but I'm missing his Easter blog where he talks about his dad and his Forman grill. That his dad would cook a shoe on it if he could.

Is there something wrong with me because I don't like to read? I don't know I think I could be doing something else with my time like watching tv. I'm an idiot aren't I? I just have a hard time with books that keep my interest that aren't manga. I really like pictures. For the record I usually don't mind magazines and sometimes newspapers (depends on section). Funny I mentioned I don't like to read a few blogs ago.

I received my Mister Ed book. I haven't read much; about 12 pages, but I'm enjoying the book. There are a lot of pictures of Mister Ed/Bamboo Harvester. Some of them are really funny/cute.

♣My hair wasn't as bad as I thought. I thought I wasn't going to be able to style it well. Usually when I try to style my hair on my own it comes out horribly ugly. I wore 2 high little pigtails on the top of my head. My hair was half up. The pigtails would have looked better if they were curled, but I didn't have time to do that.The back of my hair looked matted. I tried so hard to fix it though. The green hair decorations looked good in my red hair. Ok it's more auburn.

I saw a lot of people wearing green on the bus and at school. I'm disappointed that there is no PR (public relations) classes taught at school.

Later in class I was thinking about different green characters. I started making a list. I think I mentioned some of these characters before. Let's see Good Luck,
Patty O'Green and Lucky the sprite were obvious.

Then I thought about Minty from My Little Pony (both incarnations)

Buy This Blog!

Let's see if I can manage to come up with a good title for this blog, but if I can't I'll end up giving it a lame name like "miscellaneous blog". No wait I got the perfect title. "Buy This Blog!" It's a nice jab at the title of the blog I wrote last week "Steal This Blog!"

I'm still having a hard time cranking out the stories, and when I do finish them they just feel so bland. *exasperated sigh*

I learned something in my sales class. I learned about the 4 types of consumers. I already knew I was an emotional shopper. I'm trying to think about what I can do with something, or get something to copy somebody. I mean how many times have I written about feeling emotional, and then going shopping. Or when I make impulse buys or buy something on a whim. I thought I blogged about the time I wanted to buy a pink studded collar on a whim, but there weren't any the store.

After we did that we watched a video about how people shop and how stores are arranged and stuff. Which made me think about that old PBS show The Merchants of Cool. I thought I wrote about that before; maybe I wrote about it in my old myspace blog. Or I was thinking about writing a blog about that show, but I never did. I really can't remember.

I'm trying to come up with a good/cute hairstyle for St. Patrick's Day. Maybe I'll wear tiny pigtails or something. I don't know...
