"Celebrate the independence of your nation by blowing up a small part of it."

Lisa Style 4th of July "Like, you know, whatever!" I should wear a tie dye shirt.
I love this quote from The Simpsons episode "Summer of 4 ft. 2". "Celebrate the independence of your nation by blowing up a small part of it."
I used the phrase "chaotic randomness" I hardly ever use that when I talk.
I use it a lot in my writing.

I did enjoy Conan hosting and talking about the different movies he likes.
He has good taste in movies.

I helped 2 of my cousins make a meez.

Here is a picture of a fountain.

Here is a picture of some crazy ass fireworks some people near where I was.
Were stetting off.

1st of July and Smoke gets in my Eye (because of fireworks)

I'd better acknowledge the Canadians. HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Here is a picture of somebody Canadian: Cory Monteith.

I should stop being a selfish American I can do that a few days from now.

I finally got my food card. Now I'm legally able in California to touch food! The test was so easy! I really didn't need to take 9 pages of notes. Hopefully this will make me more desirable for employers. I could possibly be touching your food!

My hair is longer and I still can't believe that I can still make a tight and proper bun. It looks like something Lilith Sternin would wear. I was trying to hold back a lot of hair. I even broke a clip. It was a cheapie one from the 99 cents store.

I was at the Angels vs. Dodgers interlaegue game. It was intense. I didn’t realize the rivalry was so strong. It thought it wasn’t that strong since Angels are American League and Dodgers are National League. When I went I wanted to remain neutral, so I didn’t wear either team’s color.

For Tony Gwynn they really need to distinguish between the father and the son. This is especially confusing if somebody remembers when the dad played.

It was hard for me to capture the Dodger fans' rowdiness. They don't throw napkins off the side. I think that is due to the construction of Angel Stadium as opposed to the construction of Dodger Stadium.

Some of the anti-Dodger cheers were “Can‘t Make Payroll!” and “Bankrupt Team” I wanted to start a “team debt” chant. I ‘d like to see somebody make a sign or shirt like that with the “D” in debt using the “D” from the Dodgers logo. I made this very quickly in paint. Excuse the sloppiness. I also like the "McCourt $0" shirt a Dodger fan was wearing. Some of the fans can have fun with this.

I have an idea for a funny song. In LA the local games are shown on KCAL, and the commercials have a little song in them. There is a lyric that goes "If you wanna be a champion then you can't wait any longer". I changed it to "If you wanna get paid then you can't wait any longer". ;P

Picture of my Father

I read something funny online about father's day. That facebook users can post a picture of their dad as their profile pic. That is so funny! Maybe I should post a picture of my dad. A drawing I made. LOL! XD

Miscellaneous blog #42

Here is a bunch of miscellaneous things strung together.

I found the lyrics to "Earthquake Drill". I never realized how horribly laughable the lyrics are. I should post them on here for a good laugh.

After posting that ad on craigslist all I got were offers for scam jobs. Some of them were vague and desperate. Maybe I'll post another ad soon. When the current one expires.

On the way home my dad was looking for a bathroom because he didn't go before we left the venue. He didn't know that a lot of fast food places that are open 24 hours only have the drive thru open after hours to prevent robberies. How could he not know that?! I misspelled the word "sultry" forgive me I was tweeting on my phone, and it doesn't have spell check. :(

The real reason I didn't want to say I was going is because I don't own any recording equipment to record the performance. Here is somebody else's review of the show. Shirley is mentioned as the "Former Garbage front woman" Okay... -_-

Here is something strange after the show I looked up Zooey Deschanel's profile I didn't realized she was in The Offspring's video for "She's Got Issues". My friend use to joke like I was the girl on the video because she sees all these strange cartoon things. She was also in "The Jag" video. I'm not an obsessive fan or anything. Those videos came out at about the same time. Those videos were both on the music video tapes I've been going through. When I watched the "She's Got Issues" video I noticed the girl has an outdated job; she is film developer. That job is pretty much obsolete now.

My dad picks out the tackiest things for my mom. He always wants me to go shopping with him, but he is such a jerk and makes scenes in stores. I'd rather not!

The Lakers NBA finals hopes are crushed. They were eliminated. It reminded me of when they lost to Detroit in 2004. They were really broken back then.

Enviro-“mental”

I had this strange dream about my parents my mom had the power to teleport she was bothering me while I was trying to cook leeks for soup or something. My dad was upset because his Buick got in an accident and was totaled. He was also upset because somebody offered to buy the broken car off him for $1.25.

I forgot it was Earth Day until I saw it mentioned on The Price is Right. I wrote a funny Earth Day tweet referencing a lyric from "What are we Gonna Do?". I wrote "Happy Earth Day send the message".
Later when I was looking for a video on one of my tapes I found the video for the Dramarama song "What are we Gonna Do?" this was purely coincidental I was looking for a Moby video.

Back in 1999 my high school threw an Earth Day fair type thing. I remember part of the outfit I wore that day. I wore a blue jacket with a black faux fur collar and a pikachu shirt. It looks like the jacket Gwen is wearing in this picture. I was my first time wearing that pikachu shirt to school. The jacket was low cut, so the pikachu was prominently shown.

I spent most of my time with my friend and her boyfriend. The games were free. Most of the prizes given out were mostly junky fish shaped things. They reminded me of my pet fish. A few games were giving out erasers.
They were those ones that look like the world. The student government was making and giving out balloon animals. The problem was that they hadn’t practiced, and there were only 2 girls making them. When we got there it looked like they were just opening up a klutz book and a pack of balloons. About 1%-3% of the students at the fair got a balloon animal or hat.

The food was gross. The only food they were selling were overly greasy Rice Krispie treats and cucumber with chili powder on top. My friend bought some treats and they were so greasy we could barley hold on to them. They were sliding out of our hands, and they were wrapped.

I got bored with hanging out with my friend and her boyfriend. I was just a 3rd wheel. I decided to wander around on my own. I "ran into" my crush twice. Later I ran into my math tutor. There was a craft area and I tried to make some kind of pom pom animal with tacky craft glue, but it fell apart. I purposely ran into my crush, and told him that the ugly necklace he made was good. I wanted him to comment on my coat. There were also some sea animals that could be pet. I pet those. Then I wanted to play a game and the guy running it (a student) said let the Pokemon girl play. I thought this was hilarious.

In my class after the fair most of the people in the class were pelting each other with the erasers given as prizes. That class was composed of mostly hooligans, and the teacher had no control over the class.

When my math teacher saw a balloon dog somebody had. He said it was made wrong. He tired to fix it. He said somebody's balloon hat looked pornographic. (it sort of did)

Pricing Fool

While I was trying to watch Fallon somebody was singing loudly and badly at 12:44 AM. This went on for about 15 minutes. After I thought about it could this have been am April Fools joke? The signing was pretty bad. I could hear it from at least 3 houses away.

I was disappointed Jimmy Fallon didn't read my tweet on the air. I thought this one was actually good.

The price is right 10,000th something episode was really funny! It was really an April Fools episode. Too bad Mimi wasn’t in this one. This was more of a mishap show. There was a lot of funny things that happened. I think the mention of the 10,000th was a nod to the show celebrating milestones. It was something for the loyal friends and true. (too bad they don't use that phrase anymore)

When squeeze play wouldn’t work it reminded me of when it didn’t back in the Barker era. It would have been funnier if after it squeezed and drew revealed the price it fell out of the game. This really happened on the show (non-April fools)

I loved Drew’s literal instructions on how to get tickets to the show by going online. It was like he was talking to my parents who are around his age.

Richard was a crazy contestant who just added to the craziness. It was funny when the jumped in the shower! I liked when the contestants row display didn't work. When the screen that they use for trips didn't work I thought it would have been funny if they had used those old pictures they used before they had the screens.

Here are some ideas they could have done that they didn’t:
Upside down price tags
Using those old pictures for trips
Having drew read a blank card that has the price on it for bidders row
Having the wheel not beep and making the audience do it.
Have the inflatable toys deflate on stage
Have the number display on the big wheel not work

Does this Green Count?

Here's a picture Patty O'Green I was scouring the internet looking for one last year. Luckily I found my Rainbow Brite book and scanned a picture.

It was strange this year since my dad didn't yell at me for not having the basketball game on. I was startling, confusing, and refreshing all at the same time.

Getting my jollies from reading Yahoo Answers and the distressed peoples questions on there like "If I color my arm with green marker will that count as wearing green? I don't want to get pinched and I don't have any green clothes. "

I'm just happy I don't go to school anymore and get socked for not wearing green. Not pinched; not lightly punched. When did pinching turn into socking? I'd fare better playing a round or slaughterhouse. (The handball game where the person who misses gets punched. It's banned in a lot of schools. )

I ate my corned beef today. My mom likes to make sandwiches with pickles and mustard. I just like eating a chunk of meat. I like the uninhibited flavor of the meat on it's own. Corned beef can stand on it's own.

It's towards the end of the day and I haven't even listened to any Irish music.

The only thing I manged to over indulge on this year was meat.

Radio Reminder

I totally forgot it was a holiday weekend. I didn't realize until I heard special Presidents Day radio programming. I feel like Mr. McKormick from South Park "When you're unemployed weekends are meaningless."

I don't mean that Presidents Day is not important. I just forgot.

Flaunt It Girl!

I think Valentines Day is one of the most commercial holidays in the US. I think even more than Christmas. Christmas in not about one thing. It's about as many things as a person can think of. It can be religious if one wants to be. Valentines Day is about one thing and one thing only; romantic relationships. And I'm telling that to the bald-ish yellow shirted boy looking for a real Christmas tree.

It's funny when I was reading my old magazines with contradictory articles one says about how awesome it is to be single and the one next to it says about how great it is to have a boyfriend. Then there'd be some other article about red clothing and a salute to lipstick or something like that.

The thing I really hate is when women are all flaunting their relationship or when people just starting making out in public. Or all the people who complain about only receiving $5 carnations. Good thing I didn't leave the house today! The day wasn't all bad. I'm just happy I'm not in high school anymore!

One year I'd really like to throw an anti-valentines party with black and green decorations and play break up songs.

Crafty Heart

While looking through old magazines I found this in an issue from 1999. The green "page me" heart looks so dated. There is a major flaw with this craft. It uses real candy hearts. There are a lot of problems with this. Candy hearts crush easily. It doesn't say to use any type of sealer or something. Wouldn't that make the craft prone to vermin?

Then I found this craft. It's a conversation hearts bracelet, but the hearts are made of clay. If those two projects are combined together the candy won't get vermin. These ones are covered in resin.

I've also been having fun going on yahoo and reading all the desperate postings of people who don't know what to buy somebody, feel worthless because they are single, and the ones desperately looking for dates. I like the really vague questions like "Does anybody know where I can buy a Valentines bear?"

I want to pose a question: at what age does Valentines Day stop being fun and turns into flaunting and desperation?

Year of the Rabbit

This year Chinese/Lunar new year is not falling on Valentines Day like last year, so I'll have to come up with a better excuse this year.

My dad is a rabbit, but the thinks he is a dragon.

Here are a bunch of rabbit and bunny pictures. Bugs and Buster Lola Babs Bunnie Cream and Vanilla Patti My Melody Mashimaro Kiko Brer Rabbit Rabbit Thumper Roger Rabbit Swiftheart Buster Baxter Miffy Greg the Bunny Sam Peter Rabbit Cybunny Snowbunny Usagi I know she is not a rabbit a real lop

Punxsutawney!

Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring.

But he inspired me to make a Halloween costume. I was thinking about this for a while. I think it's cute/creative when people dress as something from another holiday on Halloween like Santa or conversation hearts. I would like to dress up as Punxsutawney Phil; the groundhog. I have not committed to anything yet. It's only February and Phil is just an idea.

There is a "Punxsutawney Pete" fursuit/mascot costume for sale.

New Year; New Channel & a dog Wearing Pants

I sort of made a resolution. The thing I want to resolve just happened to happen around this time. Pure coincidence.

Too bad UTB 18.2 isn’t showing asadora dramas anymore. I couldn’t really get into Hitomi. I really wanted to watch Tsubasa and Welkame.

I was looking for some maneki neko cell phone charms online. They seem overpriced. Maybe I’ll go look at the mall. I don’t want to sound racist here, but at a store that sells Asian things.

Here is a funny picture I took of my pikachu with a frame that came in the phone. Pikachu, let's beer!

I’m planning a Halloween costume even though the year is young. I was thinking Superdome, but how would I build that? When it is Halloween 2011 it will already be next year’s football season. Which might be locked out.

I’m really only worried about ending up on a bad costume website. That would be so horrible.

I don’t know why, but this dog costume is bothering me. Why is it wearing pants?

Remember when everybody was excited for 1-1-01?

The parade was bothering me because the commentators kept mispronouncing the word "nori"

Busytown Mysteries is on 3 OTA stations now in LA, KCBS (part of the Saturday Morning Cookie Jar Block), This-TV(part of their This is for Kids e/i block), and on KCET.

Wubblous World isn't so bad even if I was half asleep watching it. Anne of Green Gables is the old series KCET use to show when they were a PBS station from about 10-8 years ago. I wish they would show Jakers the Adventures of Piggley Winks, or some kidmango shows, Bookmice, or Return to the Magic Library.

Sticky Christmas

I got another strange text message from the same number who sent me one last year. This year the message said "Happy Christmas!" last year it said "Happy Christmas! Be careful. Keep on Keeping On."

I got a new phone and I've been busy cleaning out my old one. I want to make sure I don't erase anything important. Too bad the new one doesn't have a place to put a charm on it. Oh well. The phone was a replacement phone. I'm gonna be super careful with this phone. I'm even buying a case for it.

I got a new MP3 player too which was also a replacement. Added "Pretty Horses" and "Lighten Up" onto this one. I think it could use some 90s R&B. I'm thinking "Thank You" or "End of the Road" by Boyz II Men.

The worst part was my dad spilled grape juice all over me. Luckily it was the white one, but I was sticky all day even after I washed off. Somehow like always he brings it back to back to me. It was my fault he spilled it. That was it! I decided to drink water for the rest of the day. It's not as sticky.

Christmas at Disney World

Christmas at Disney World is the beautiful celebration of Christmas holidays with Disney cartoons and favorite Disney Land. Such kind of theme parks and events are part of Xmas celebrations in the World where every year beautifully decorated, lighted and maintained places become destination for people and tourists to join and be part of the festive season. The preparations of celebrating Xmas festival with Disney began month prior and everyone book their entry well in advance through online and counter tickets. Special giant Christmas trees are kept to create flavor of Xmas along with large decorative, Santa costume wearing Disney cartoon characters, gaming, laser shows, fireworks and much more to explore at the Disney World. This year in 2010, there are few special attractions and surprises for visitors so make sure you don't miss them.

Christmas for Sluts

The alternate title for this was Have Yourself a Slutty Little Christmas.

I was looking at these holiday themed outfits. I found the Gingerbread one after I posted that blog about finding the Watermelon Girl and Peppermint Girl outfits. Somebody on a website pointed out that the cookie on the apron is over the crotch. @.@

This Candy Cane costume isn’t so bad.
This Candy cane cutie costume doesn’t seem very candy striped to me. I think it should be called “Holly” something like Holly babe.
Santa’s Lil Ho Ho Ho. It’s um… I found that costume by accident. I typed in “Santa‘s ho costume” and that came up.
There is always the Naughty Elf costume.

No Pies for Me

The parade wasn't as good as the one from last year. I still enjoy the pikachu balloon and the Smurf balloon and float. The float has a mushroom house on it. Can you believe pikachu has been in the parade for 10 years? It's been in the parade since 2001. I remember I wrote about the parade for English class that year in high school. I think we had to write a Thanksgiving essay.

Was it me of was Jimmy Fallon's lip syncing a little "off"? It wasn't as bad as those Barbie Princess and the Pauper actors one year.

Now since Nickelodeon and Rainbow (the company that produces Winx Club) teamed up I'm hoping I will see an "appearance" by them next year. It will probably just be some girls in wigs or something. It would be fun just to see them.

I tried to start a new tradition of wagering on the dog show, but my family would have nothing of it. I broke it down like this the person could wager on either the group or an individual breed. The thing that upset me is that for the past 2 years the toy group has been the last one up.

I ended up over eating this year. I mostly ate meat and cornbread.

I didn't eat pie this year. I don't like pie crust and I usually discard the crust anyway. I requested pumpkin custard instead. It's like pumpkin pie, but there is no crust.

You know what bothers me it's when they show tv commercials for Black Friday deals at 1AM on black Friday wouldn't it be too late to get there? I would like to hit the Mega-mart 12 minute sale. That $39 ipad is a great deal!

It's been the 1st time since I've stopped watching Letterman on Thanksgiving. The writers strike doesn't count.

Group Costume Ideas

I have a great idea for people who want a group costume and are fans of Conan O'Brien. Dress as Conan and different people from his show. Here are some suggestions:

Andy

Max

Bernard (extra points if you have a fake recliner or talk about anime or sic fi stuff)

The Masturbating Bear (and the scientists that probe him)

Triumph

La Bamba

Year 2000/3000

The "Ass" Stamp

I have another group idea; dress as Gwen Stefani. I've seen people do Madonna and Britney Spears, but I've never seen Gwen done before. The group could consist of:

Pre-"Tragic Kingdom" Gwen wear cheerleader outfits or overalls. "Trapped in a Box" would also work or even a conductor uniform.

"Tragic Kingdom" Gwen wear crop tops and bondage pants or any outfit she wore in a video from that era

"Return of Saturn" Gwen have pink hair! Skirt pants, "X" tanktops and lots of eyeliner. or any video from that era

"Rocksteady" Gwen long blond hair, "Rock" and "Steady" rings. Show your underwear band. For a sexy costume I recommend the "Underneath it All" video

"L.A.M.B." Gwen wear an Alice in Wonderland dress or a majorette uniform

"The Sweet Escape" Gwen wear something from the "Wind it Up" video

You could also dress as Gwen from their latest tour with a white shirt and black pants. Or dress as singles collection Gwen. Or even Gwen from the "It's My Life" video. Or even "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" or "Southside". (bonus points if you lick somebody's bald head.)
