Another groovy post

Hello cupcakes, hope you are all okay! My MAC order finally arrived today, and I know you're all sick of seeing In The Groove buys but I also bought some permanent things, so I hope you'll forgive me! I seriously hate ordering online since they changed their courier service but because I couldn't get to the MAC store, I had no option. I already have By Candlelight Mineralize Skinfinish so the only thing I was going to get was the Petticoat one, but there's so much hype surrounding Stereo Rose MSF too that I just couldn't pass it up. Onto the loot:

  • Petticoat MSF - I absolutely love Petticoat. I bought it the first time it came out and wore it every single day for about 6 weeks... and then it smashed into little tiny smitherines. I was devastated, and I did decant it into an old pot with a sifter, but it just wasn't the same because the bronze veining was too overpowering. I'm so, so happy to have this little gem in my life again :)
  • Stereo Rose MSF - I caved and got it and you know what? I absolutely adore it! It's a really pretty peachy-coral colour and it is going to look stunning on top of my NARS multiple, I'm sure. It's probably my favourite MSF from the collection and unfortunately, it's sold out now. It was actually sold out by Saturday morning, so hot foot it down to your local store if you want this beauty!
  • Grain Eyeshadow - Since my hair got darker and my skin has got more tanned, my favourite combo of All That Glitters and Patina just doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. I've been watching a lot of TiffanyD's videos and love the looks she has been creating with this eyeshadow. It's very plain but I'm looking forward to using it. It's a really pretty nude colour that has a sheen rather than a shimmer. It will be great to put all over the lid for a quick but brightening eye look.
  • Satin Taupe Eyeshadow - This has been on my list for a very, very long time and I'm really pleased I finally have it. All of my brown shadows are warm toned so this makes a welcome change.
  • Hush Cream Colour Base - I'm obsessed with CCB's recently and have been wanting something to use as a highlighter. I still love Pearl but the more tanned I get, the more ashy it looks, whereas this one has a really pretty peachy undertone to it. I love it.

Did you get anything from the new collections? I'm less interested in the Limited Edition things than I used to be, but now and again I have to kill some lemmings!

xoxo
