Latest love : NYX Strawberry Milk lipstick

I love nude lipsticks, but recently I've been finding myself reaching for colours more suited to spring - like pretty pastel pinks and lilacs. My favourite lipstick of the moment is by NYX, and is one of the most recent additions to my stash. It is the ever-raved-about Strawberry Milk, and although it looks like a scary, pale bubblegum pink, it is absolutely stunning on the lips.

I find it to be really creamy on application, but it kind of dries on my lips. This isn't a bad thing - it just gives a matte stain-like look, and because the colour is so bright it looks so so pretty. Although it dries down, it doesn't dry my lips out, and because it dries it means it is long lasting, so a huge thumbs up there! The only downside is the slight perfume-ish washing-up liquid sort of taste, but I'm used to it now so don't find it unpleasant anymore. It can be sorted with a slick of gloss, though once it's 'dried' you can't even taste it.

I feel so pretty, young and girly wearing this, and let's face it, who doesn't want to feel like that every so often?!

I forgot to say, these lipsticks are so affordable. Mine cost about £3 but you can ship it from the US for less than £1. Bargain alert!
