There is a new homeware shop that has recently opened in my town. Since I moved house five weeks ago and threw/broke/lost lots of things in the moving process, I thought I'd nip into the centre and have a little gander on my rare Friday afternoon off. This new shop just happened to be a few doors away from Superdrug, so it would have been rude to not pop in there for a nose around too, right? Well I bought two more cheap plastic drawers for my makeup but that's it as far as homeware goes. I bought a lot of make up to fill the drawers though!
I have to be honest, I'm a bit gutted with my purchases. I love everything I got, I'm just gutted about the price. I think I made a mistake and picked up things that I thought were on offer but actually weren't. I nearly had a heart attack handing over my card. I expect to spend that much at MAC, not a drugstore! Oh well... on to the pictures.

First up we have some gorgeous lipsticks.
Now, I'm pretty sure you're all familiar with these colours - they've been blogged and You Tubed about lots and lots. Only recently I've had the chance to check them out and they're all so pretty that I had to get them all! If you saw my June Favourites post, you will have seen that I love MAC's Lavender Whip lipstick and I'm gutted that it's not permanent. I stupidly didn't get Fashion Mews from Hello Kitty either, so I've been scouring eBay and the like for (reasonably priced!) both lilac lipsticks. It didn't occur to me to get the Barry M version. I'm dim like that - often can't see the wood for the trees. But now I have unlimited access to lilac lipstick. Yay!
Next up are some GOSH Cool Lip Jams that the lovely Lollipop26 first brought to my attention.
100 is almost a clear gloss, but it has a fluorescent blue/violet sheen to it. Very eye-catching and I'm imagining it to be very pretty over my beloved Lavender Whip lipstick. 101 has a slight blue tint, and has lots of green, blue and pink sparkles to it. Beautiful and very unique. I already have a blue gloss by Benefit, but I already think that this one is much better. 107 is just a pale shimmery pinky shade. Great for neutral or nude lips, I really like it layered over Darling. They smell and taste like Juicy Fruit bubblegums, which I loved as a kid!
And finally we have some lashes by Girls Aloud
As with everything else I bought, these have been around in the blog circle for quite a while. I've wanted to get my hands on them for equally as long! You'll notice that Sarah's lashes are missing, and that is because A) I don't like them and B) I don't like her. Yes, I am really that fickle. Nadine's are probably my favourite, and suprisingly, Cheryl's my least. Cheryl is my ultimate beauty icon, and her set of lashes were my main reason for wanting to check out the range. They're just too full on though. Maybe more suited for dramatic smokey eyes?
I picked up some other things that I haven't photographed, like some conditioner by John Frieda (supposedly on offer but not according to my reciept - boo!), cotton pads, eyebrow pencil, Revlon Colorstay foundation in shade Buff (which seems like a perfect match for my NC15-20 skin) and another Barry M nail polish in colour 304 Mint Green. It's a pretty pastel green, very similar to MAC's Peppermint Patti. Move over blunt bangs, I think I have a new obsession... Barry M nail paints!
I think that's me done hauling for a while. Well, until next payday at least... Though I am tempted to buy a few more nail paints from the Barry M website and use Lollipop26's code.
MUST. STAY. STRONG!!
