Halfway there

Since today is the July 1st, we are officially into the last 6 months of the year. 2010 has gone freakishly fast so far! I thought that today would be a good day to check how I'm doing on this year's Resolutions that I made on January 1st, and just to recap, here is what I resolved:

1.  As always, eat less, move more. Well, this resolution was going brilliantly. I'm sure you all know about my love of jogging by now but I haven't been at all since I've come home from London. Naughty me. My diet was horrendous last month. From the start of June until the end of June I ate nothing but rubbish, but I'm starting afresh today. So, I'm giving myself a 5/10 for this one - good attempt so far but must try harder.

2.  Stop biting my nails. I'm still biting my nails. Oops. I haven't even attempted this one to be honest. 0/10 for me!

3.  Break out of my neutrals rut. I still adore my neutrals but I'm definitely being braver in my make up choices.Also, I set myself little challenges, like my purple week, to encourage me to dig around my stash more. I'm quite pleased with how I'm getting on with this one, so a 6/10.

4.  Remove my make-up every single night. I remove my make up 95% of the time. If I don't it's because I'm too exhausted or something, but more often than not it's removed before I fall asleep. 9/10!

5.  Drink less Diet Coke and more water. This resolution started fantastically, then went a bit wrong around April, but I've been back on track since we've had this warmer weather. I've been drinking water by the bucketload lately and the cravings for Diet Coke have passed. I will treat myself now and again but I will limit myself to maybe one or two cans a week. 7/10 for moi.




So my resolutions have been a bit up and down, but many of them are lifestyle changes that I never expected to happen overnight. As long as progress is being made along the way I'm happy - though I must start resolution number 2 ASAP! How are you getting on with your resolutions?
