2010 ANDA Melbourne Coin Show special

Recently, Perth Mint has been releasing a very limited number of ANDA Coin Show ‘Celebrate Australia’ Specials online. The Australasian Numismatic Dealer’s Association (ANDA) is the professional body representing individuals and businesses that deal in rare coins & banknotes throughout Australasia. ANDA actively promote the hobby of numismatics throughout Australasia by conducting regular trade shows and distributing information. No more than 2,500 of these 1oz of Proof Quality 99.9% Pure Silver ANDA Melbourne Coin Show Specials will be released.


The coin’s reverse comprises pad printed and struck elements representing iconic symbols of the Garden State, Melbourne’s Flinders Street Station and an iconic tram; a Little Penguin; and Common Heath, Victoria’s floral emblem. The design incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2010 year-date.
