Hello my little chickadees, hope you are all having a lovely Easter so far!
On Friday we did a little bit of shopping, and then yesterday we visited Mr Lollipop's family since we wouldn't be able to see them today. Our little nephews were really excited when we gave them their eggs, as if they'd never had chocolate before! My baby niece was unfathomed by it, but then she is only 8 months old. I'm sure her Mammy will help her eat her egg though haha.
When we came home I decided to make some Easter nests. I've made them every Easter since I was a little girl so it's kind of a tradition. Diet or no diet, it's not Easter unless I make some!
Do you know how much effort and hard work goes into making these babies? Haha, okay, okay, I joke. But do you know how much effort and hard work goes into not eating them all? That is a challenge and a half, I can assure you! I shouldn't have made them when I'm trying to eat well and I've already ate three, but I've been jogging 5 times this week so I've earned them. Well, that's what Mr Lollipop has been telling me to make me feel better. He's so cute!
I also got two new books this weekend : Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult and The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. I really enjoyed My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult and my sister in law really rates her books in general. My friend also really recommends this book so I'm looking forward to reading it. The Lovely Bones has been made into a film (in case you've been living under a rock!) and I prefer to read the books before I watch the movies... so I'm also looking forward to reading this! I've heard mixed reviews about the film but only good things about the book, so it'll be interesting to see which I prefer.

I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter but once again it's turned into a rambly post! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your long weekend - woohoo! - and I hope you don't get sick from too much chocolate!!
xoxo
