Chica-Bu Bamboo for Girls Review

(in Spanish, chica means girl and bu means bamboo)
Did you know that fabric made from bamboo is 3 - 4 times more absorbent than cotton, eco-friendly, and pulls moisture away from skin to keep you cooler in hot weather? WOW!

A Bit about Chica-Bu Bamboo for Girls
Chica-Bu sells clothing made from Bamboo a fabric that is soft, breathable, and affordable! The owner of Chica-Bu teamed up with a group of older women from Mexico who have mastered the art of Brazilian dimensional hand embroidery to create dresses, blankets, onesies and other accessories for babies and toddlers. The company also provides income for many who can't work or find jobs. A a portion of each sale goes to Friends of El Faro, a charity that helps to feed, shelter and educate orphaned children in Tijuana, Mexico.

I was sent the Toddler Pink Flower Hand Embroidered Tank Dress from Chica-Bu to review. This dress is soft, beautiful, and lightweight. My favorite feature has to be the hand embroidered Pink Flowers along the front of the dress. Yes each flower is hand embroidered-which means someone embroidered each flower on the dress by hand not by machine! The Bamboo fabric makes the dress very breathable and perfect for the warm summer temperatures. I love the fact that this dress can be easily dressed up or dressed down, perfect for a party or a trip to the zoo or park!
