Theo Chocolate makes Willy Wonka look bad...real bad.

Theo Chocolate produces premium organic and Fair Trade specialty chocolate. Theo's Founder, Joseph Whinney, pioneered the supply of organic cocoa beans into the United States in 1994. Mr. Whinney always dreamt of building the first organic chocolate factory in the US, as prior to Theo’s inaugural chocolate run in March of 2006, all organic chocolate was manufactured in Europe and imported into the US market. As the first and only organic and Fair Trade chocolate factory in the country, all of Theo's ingredients are carefully screened to ensure they meet their standards for social and environmental responsibility. Theo’s standards and practices include:

• Using only pure ingredients that are grown sustainably. They source their ingredients locally whenever possible.
• Partnering with their growers by ensuring they earn a living wage and have access to education for their families.
• Honoring and respecting their employees and suppliers. This is possible due to the unique fact that they control every step of our their manufacturing process.
• Using green energy sources to power their factory.
• Using sustainable packaging and printing methods.
• Educating about social and environmental accountability 7 days a week through public tours of their artisan factory.

 Theo Chocolate sent me Pink Salted Vanilla Caramels in Dark Chocolate, Organic Milk Chocolate Bar {45% Cacao}, and Organic Fair Trade Cherry and Almond Dark Chocolate Bar {70% Cacao} to review. The first thing I noticed and loved about these Chocolates was the packaging. Theo Chocolate's Packaging is sleek, modern, and beautiful. Here is a breakdown of each product and what I thought of it:

Pink Salted Vanilla Caramels in Dark Chocolate
    These beautiful and delicious caramels are gluten and soy free and have been sprinkled with pink Himalayan sea salt. The sea salt combined with the sweetness of the chocolate and vanilla leaves you with a unique taste of heaven in your mouth. The crunch of the sea salt and the smooth buttery caramel leaves you wanting more long before you have finished your last bite.


Organic Milk Chocolate Bar {45% Cacao}
   This Milk Chocolate Bar is rich, smooth, and sweet. A delicious bar on its own or melted in a cup of warm milk for a special treat! Proceeds from the sale of this chocolate bar will benefit cocoa farmers, promote conservation in the tropical rain-forest and directly contribute to the Jane Goodall Institute’s efforts to save chimpanzees, develop community centered conservation efforts and direct youth education programs around the world.

Organic Fair Trade Cherry and Almond Dark Chocolate Bar {70% Cacao}
   Cherry and Almond united into one delectable chocolaty bite...pure bliss. I kept on trying to put this Chocolate bar down but it just wasn't happening...The Cherries are sweet with a bite of tartness and the Almonds give the bar a bit of crunch, this bar is a decadent treat that you won't forget!

So, if you love sweets I highly recommend Theo Chocolate. 

...I promise one bite won't be enough!
