A Bit about I Dream of Johnny


    I Dream of Johnny is the brain child of yep, you guessed it...Johnny! Johnny moved to California to study acting and become the next big star. While auditioning Johnny photographed his friends helping them with headshots and modeling portfolios. Johnny began playing around in photoshop with his photos and popular images and created patches and placed them on apparel for friends. Friends loved the unique and funky designs Johnny created and thus I Dream of Johnny was born! I Dream of Johnny has been in business for 12 years and is located in sunny Los Angeles, California. I Dream of Johnny merchandise is available in Boutique Stores nationwide {and has been sold as far away as Canada...eh? and Russia..Zdravstvuj!} 
   I Dream of Johnny takes pride in fundraising and in October of 2010 I Dream of Johnny worked with St. Judes Hospital in raising funds. If your childs school is interested in working with I Dream of Johnny on a school fundraiser please contact Johnny. 

My Review

  Before receiving my items from I Dream of Johnny I was able to personally talk to Johnny and explain the different things that make my family unique. I told Johnny a bit about my husband and I and both of our children. {for example; I told Johnny that our son is our "Italian Baby" because he has dark hair and skin. I also told Johnny that my husband loves Shakespeare, our daughter thinks she is a princess, and that I secretly love the {now defunct} Spice Girls!}


After speaking with me Johnny started working on his own personal creations for my two children.


  I was so impressed when I opened the package from I Dream of Johnny to find that Johnny had really taken the time to customize each item.
   I was sent seven custom-made items from I Dream of Johnny to review. My daughter received the following items:
A "Spice Girl" logo shirt, A "Princess" shirt, and a personalized "Princess" Pillow.


The shirts were a HUGE hit! I showed my daughter her personalized Princess shirt with her face and she kept saying "See Mommy, I told you I was a REAL princess!" She also received a "Spice Girl" shirt-which I especially loved-GIRL POWER! My daughter loved how sparkly the shirts were {thanks to the bejeweled rhinestones} and she insisted on wearing her princess shirt right away. Next out of the bag was a personalized princess doll adorned again with her face and sparkly rhinestones. She absolutely loved it! It now has a permanent place with the other stuffed animals she sleeps and plays with on a daily basis. Her reaction when seeing her face on the pillow and shirt was priceless...I wish I would have gotten it on film! 


   My son received the following items from I Dream of Johnny;

A "Italian Stallion" shirt, a personalized "Super Hero" Pillow, a "Shakespeare" Shirt, and a Suspender and Bow Tie Shirt. The Italian Stallion shirt is definitely my favorite...and we have gotten so many compliments on it! As you can see, his favorite item is definitely his personalized "Super Hero" Pillow.


   Not only did my children absolutely LOVE their items from I Dream of Johnny but my husband and I loved them as well. Everything is made with super soft materials {nothing scratchy}, and each piece is unique and quirky...which I love! The clothing all washed very well and the detail on each piece is unlike anything else my children own! You can tell that much love and time has gone into each item from I Dream of Johnny {and that in itself is unique!}.

   I highly recommend I Dream of Johnny...each item is truly a work of art!
