A Little Indulgence Review

My son was blessed last weekend and while I had found him the perfect blessing outfit I was still on the lookout for a gorgeous dress for my daughter to wear. I am so excited I found out about A Little Indulgence. The dresses offered are gorgeous and a portion of proceeds from every dress sold is donated to help feed orphans in Thailand.

A Bit about A Little Indulgence

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away with many tall buildings and lots of people, there was a mother of two little girls.  One day an invitation came in the mail to a very special party.  Both girls needed something to wear, so the mother set off to find something beautiful and appropriate for a young lady.  She searched high and low going from store, to store, to store. 

Some had dresses in styles far too old for a young little princess.  Others had beautiful dresses but they weren’t well made.  After looking for many months the mother decided to create beautiful dresses, in classic styles and offer them directly to the kingdom.   

A Little Indulgence began with a simple line of party dresses but people started asking for dresses for other occasions.  A Little Indulgence added a line of flower girl dresses, followed up with a line of first communion dresses and have expanded into dresses for pre-teenage girls.  Some shops called wanting to also offer our dresses so A Little Indulgence created even more dresses.  

Since starting A Little Indulgence, mothers have been asking advice on a wide range of subjects about their children. A Little Indulgence has since written a delightfully illustrated children’s book and has added a blog as a way of sharing what they've learned.   

My Review

  I was sent a gorgeous Ivory and Pink Girl Sleeveless Party Dress with matching bow from A Little Indulgence to review. You can see my daughter in the photo to the right in the gorgeous dress we were sent. {Minus the bow...her hair just isn't thick enough yet!}.The Ivory and Pink Girl Sleeveless Party Dress is made from beautiful pink and ivory silk. The details are absolutely gorgeous from the pink piping along the neckline to the silk covered buttons and wide sash. The sash ties in the back to ensure the perfect fit...I love this especially since my little girl is very petite. That being said I have reviewed many dresses for my little girl but I have to say this is definitely one of my all time favorites. The dress is feminine and flattering and can be worn to a wedding, party, or a special family celebration. My favorite feature has to be the 2" hand-stitched hem that can be let down when your little one gets a bit bigger...the dress grows with your little one and that is something that I really appreciate. The matching bow that was sent is made of matching silk and is the perfect accessory to the dress! A Little Indulgence dresses and accessories are meant to be just like family heirlooms...passed on from generation to generation. I know that I will be saving this dress for when my little girl has children of her own and I know she will cherish it as much as I do!
