well today I'm going to do something a little different I'm going to do a song review! Actually this to me is not only a song review and this is not just another song to me this song has honestly changed my life and not just by a small margin it has honestly changed my whole life.The lyrics of the song not only speak to me they actual portray this meaning that you cannot usually find in other songs.It really showcases true facts about teenagers who are going through this phase in life where they feel insecure or feel as if they are not worthy of being loved it also showcases Selena Gomez's beautiful voice.1st of all I am going to talk about what I think the song is about.To me this song is about self-empowerment about feeling comfortable in your own skin and not feeling that you are inferior to all of those models or even the people around you who you think are more beautiful you really need to feel these lyrics to understand that you are beautiful but it comes with a catch you have to believe you are.2ndly I am going to talk about why this song spoke to me.Well this song spoke to me mostly because Simply me is a girl who is very insecure and has absolutely no confidence in who she is and I actually realise that I never needed to feel that way.Even though people told me I was beautiful I would never believe them but now I also realise one day after I listened to the song and looked in the mirror that just because I am not the prettiest girl in the world it does not mean that I am not beautiful in my own way.It gave a 180 degree turn in my perspective of how I saw myself and I realised the fact that everyone has insecurities but we all have to believe we are truly beautiful and we have to let that shine.3rd I am going to talk about the line that spoke to me most in the song.The line that spoke to me most was I'm no beauty queen I'm just beautiful me as seen in the title box.This is so as it shows that you do not have to be the most beautiful person out there but as long as you believe you are you are beautiful in your own way.4th why I think you should listen to it.Girls who are reading this basically just know that you are beautiful no matter what girls in school say about you or whether you are bullied just brush them off and show them that you are beautiful.Beauty is not make-up and nice clothes I believe that beauty really shines from the inside and you will glow.You do not need a closetful of clothes to be beautiful,you need a big heart not the other way around.I see pretty girls all the time on the street but once I talk to them(Only if I do by accident)and they are not classy or are rude or a b****y then it will not matter.Inner beauty is really what matters.If you have inner beauty it will really show.I know that is sounds like a cliche but it's true it's what's on the left side of your chest.Know that no matter how pretty you are on the outside it won't matter because if you aren't beautiful on the inside it will not matter at all.True beauty to me honestly lies beneath the surface.
