LuckyScent.com review

My Review
   I was sent the following perfumes to review from LuckyScent.com;
Costamor

    Sugarwood-
'is a gentle, woody and gourmand fragrance with a surprise note of sugar cane, which is a cultivated crop in Costa Rica. Notes include;bergamot, fig, sugar cane pulp, peony, jasmine, musk, iris, vanilla and cedarwood.'
reminds me of warm rain falling in a forest dwelling...earthy and VERY sweet. It  is also woody with an overlay of the jasmine, vanilla, fig, and citrus. 


   Beachwood- 
"captures the uniquely beautiful stretches of protected beaches along the Costa Rican coast"
The notes in Beachwood are Sparkling citrus, airy jasmine, woods, amber and musk. Additional notes include bergamot, lavander, mandarin, neroli, coconut, cedar and sandalwood.

  Beachwood is woody and musky with a hint of sweetness. Upon first smell I immediately think of fresh laundry. It is light, airy, and sweet.


   Tabacca-

“a sultry, feminine spin on one (of) the prized crops of Costa Rica— tobacco.” Tabacca’s notes are spices, apple peel, jasmine, rose tea, raw tobacco leaves, dried tobacco leaves, rare woods, and amber."

Tabacca has a bit of a musky/sweet tobacco, with a mix of jasmine. Now when I say tobacco I mean it has a slight scent of tobacco..nothing overpowering . The mix of apple and amber give the perfume an earthy smell as well. The best way to describe the overall scent would be a bit like powdery and sweet. This perfume is strongest of the four I got to review. After Tabacca settles on the skin it smells rather strongly like pipe smoke.

   Dulcess-
Notes: almond, pear, mandarin, lily-of-the-valley, cyclamen, coconut, vanilla bean, musk and sand.


  Dulcess is definitely my favorite of the four Costamor fragrances. It is another 'clean smelling' scent with a hint of almond and coconut. It reminds me of clean soap...refreshing and sweet.
