These gold and diamond sandals cost £140,000! We certainly understand the obsession with shoes, but we’re no Imelda Marcos (the former Philippine first lady owned 1,200 pairs). We’ve definitely shelled out big bucks on fancy heels, but we’re no Carrie Bradshaw (she once realized she’d spend £24,000 on shoes). We know the market is flooded with some ludicrous over-the-top fashion items these days from designer sweatpants to bedazzled bikinis, but would you ever spend £140,000 on a pair of shoes? Because they exist, and we think they’re totally nuts!
