Vague and Inane

Tony is the first of the band members to have a girl baby. Coco? Conan you've got some competition. ;P Congrats to Tony and his family.

I can believe my dad thought my ankle would be healed already. I hurt it yesterday. Nothing is quick enough for my dad.

After thinking about what my friend told me yesterday, and how he thought I moved out of state even though I moved about 5 miles away. It came back to me after doing some research. It was my birthday, and birthdays always make me act a little weird. I remember reading his blog and it was so sad. I was feeling emotional and nostalgic because it was my 25th birthday. As I was reading his blog I was listening to the album "Bleed Like Me". I think I might have been a sugar high. That affects my writing. I sent him some vague/inane message on facebook. I wanted to quote his blog and I usually ask permission when I do that if the blog belongs to somebody I know in case the person wants a link or something.

I didn't really talk to him again until I thought I offended him by mentioning him in a blog reviewing the episode Today is the Day (part 1).

In The Office Andy's business seminar was really bad. Most of what he said can be learned in a basic business class. He is a horrible closer. He should have done a summary close or impending event. He did a mixture of closes. A salesperson should never threaten in a close.

Shiny Ears

I was wearing too much hairspray today. It made me think about in junior high and high school when the kids would wear too much hairspray and have really shiny earlobes (cartilage) from using too much. Back in the day, and maybe even now kids usually use too much hair products.

The Kirby "artwork" is still there. @.@

Those boring people weren't in class today, so I was spared. Well they gave notice last week. Too bad they are coming back next class. :(

I found a fellow Frasier fan in class. I wonder who their favorite character is?

The teacher gave us a prompt that will work better as a blog than a memoir story. I was upset that I couldn't pull up a blog to reference it. :(

Of course I didn't read what I wrote to the class since it was a blog in the making. The funny thing was that popular guy said he didn't want to read first because he thought he was being a hog. Since he is my elder I'll still graciously surrender. He PWNS the class 2nd only to the teacher.

Here is some advice. Don't really associate yourself with anything. It will do you a lot of favors.

Anyway there is something really funny somebody else read Just Kids in class for the report. It's a good thing I didn't do a report on it too. Previously I mentioned that I wanted to read the book for class, but it was too expensive. As this guy is giving the report I'm thinking about Shirley. I was thinking about all the things she wrote about the book on facebook. At least I wasn't laughing to myself this time. It's a good thing though. I would have said "Shirley Manson recommends!" After class I told the guy that I was going to read the same, book but I ended up reading something else. I hope the class enjoys Mister Ed. Of course. :P

2nd Day 1st Blog.

Took the day off from blogging yesterday which is funny since I usually post a "beginning of the month blog". I just want to say that summer doesn't start at the end of May. It starts at the solstice in June. Don't let the media tell you otherwise.

I managed to post 27 entries last month which an impressive feat for me. My goal is to post about 20-24. Time willing. Of course I should have a working computer or something. If I'm posting 100 or more a month then I have a problem, and a lot of free time on my hands. :P

My MP3 player is acting funny again. I don't expect it to work properly.

I did manage to finish the other short story I was working on. That one is too fatty. I got another one due at the end of the month which is not finished. That one is really fatty too.

I'm taking the day off from blogging today. I feel depleted or something. Still frustrated with a different story I'm working on. Maybe I should get some sleep. ZZZZZZ. ^o^ <-- that's a yawning emoticon.

Steal This Blog!

I was up late fretting about my story for my memoir class. I've been working on it on and off since late Friday/early Saturday morning. For some reason I've been stressing out about writing it. I've been having celebrity dis dreams. I always have those when I'm stressed. For some reason the song Garbage song "Soldier Through This" has been playing in my dreams.

I want to address 2 things before I get into the meat of the blog. First I know some people were mad about Gwen Stefani being made fun of on Saturday Night Live in the "We Are the World 3" skit. Actually I though the impersonation was spot on. The singing voice was great. I'm not sure which Gwen era she was suppose to be though. Her outfit looked like a mix of different eras. It confused me a little, but easily recognizable as Gwen.

Second thing; I was going to blog about how I was looking for a new phone, and what a hard time I had. I ended up falling asleep, and forgot to write the blog. By the time I woke up it was already midnight.

Nothing particularly interesting happened to me today at school. The only thing interesting I saw was a guy who got on the bus wearing an Eddie Guerrero shirt. I just thought that was worth posting.

Possible Future Endeavors for Conan

There are some rallies being held across the country to show support for Conan. The closest one to me is at Conan's soon to be former home base of Universal Studios California. I'd love to go, but we all know I'm not allowed to ride a bunch of buses into the city anymore. *rolls eyes* Anyway kudos to anyone who does go to any of them. It says to wear orange; I think it would be a good idea if you can find some of have some laying around is to use that colored hairspray in orange. Why not commit fully and use red dye? Let's make it look like class colors day back at my old high school!

Conan should get a grand or semi-grand sendoff like Krusty did. (Did he help write that episode?)

I have a few questions though some of which may go unanswered. What will happen to that wax Conan they made for an attraction at Universal? Will he get to keep that? Will it be for sale? Will it be shot out of a cannon?

I also wonder what will happen to the studio he used to tape the show at? Will Jay use it? Or will it just be a big waste of money?

According to this article NBC owns most or all of his bits. I even have some proposed new names "In the year 4000" and horny whale. Does this mean he can't do the string dance anymore?

Here is a random funny Conan related story. Back when I first started watching his show I use to imitate his dances. There was this one dance he use to do circa 1996 or 1997 where he would jump back and point to Andy. One day I was dancing like Conan, and I fell out of the open sliding glass door at my old house. I was always falling out of that door while I was dancing. I also fell out of it imitating a Gwen dance.

Since Conan'll be off tv soon I'll be having withdraws when he is gone. Just kidding! :P That doesn't mean I won't miss him. :(

Since Conan O'Brien is going to unemployed soon I have some ideas for some new ventures for him.

Team up with Shirley Manson and form a duo called "Too Red"
Host an informative DVD about the US presidents
Get a gig hosting a revived version of that late night 90s talk show Vibe
Go back as being a writer for The Simpsons
Host a show on a different channel; Conan's youtube channel
Open up profiles on social networking sites; to communicate with the fans
Be a cartoon voice
Host his own children's tv show
Works for Letterman as a writer
Write a book about this situation/his life
Be a character on Gossip Girl or Glee
Follow my blog; like Conan would read this *laughs hysterically*

Maybe we can go with a suggestion that Silent Beeker had about Conan going to the unemployment office. What about a skit where Conan and company are on like a dirt road holding up a sign that says "New York or Bust" and they are hitchhiking.

When I was younger; about 13 and first getting into late night tv. I wanted to have my own show. I seriously am not considering going into that venture. Jay might be hunting me down.

Remember, nobody says they want to get their late night talk show taken over somebody else in 7 months. Don't let Leno get in the way of your dreams.

No Entrecard widget any more!

Dear Readers,
you may have realized in the meanwhile, that I deleted my Entrecard accounts because I have no time any more to follow the ads and react appropriately.
I also decided to keep my blogs ad free. I am happy to use the old fashioned link exchange though for those blogs which are strictly theme related. In my opinion advertising has taken over on so many blogs that you sometimes do not recognize content any more. This is not what I want to do with my blogs.
The only widget that I am glad to continue to use is the one with followers because this one helps me to find new interesting blogs and I am happy to "pay back" with an entry myself.
