Daddy strikes again

A couple of weeks ago, my lovely Daddy gave me some money to treat myself, and on the weekend he repeated the kind gesture and gave me and my brothers £50 each. I hope he hasn't won the lottery without telling me! Sensible me was saying don't buy make up with it... but I don't like sensible me all that much, so off to the MAC website I went! It arrived today, and this is what I bought:


Romp eyeshadow pan
Peachykeen blush pan
Pearl cream colour base
15-pan eyeshadow palette
6-pan blush palette

Here are some swatches for you. I've compared Romp to the other browns in my palette that look quite similar in the pan or have similar tones. I've swatched Peachykeen against my two favourite peachy/coral blushes for you to see aswell.


Peachykeen and Dainty are exact dupes of each other in my opinion. I love Dainty though, it's my favourite blush ever, so I don't mind that I've got another one!


I'd say Tempting is most like Romp, but Romp has more of a golden sheen. Not quite as gold as Woodwinked though. Actually, I'd say Romp is the lovechild of Woodwinked and Tempting!


So pretty. I bought this to use as a highlighter, mainly a cheek highlighter but this is safe for the eye area too. Pearl CCB + Peachykeen blush = Stunning cheek combo!
