A-Z of me, myself and I

Laura tagged me ages ago for this and I remembered about it when reading it on someone else's blog - memory like a sieve, I tell you. I enjoy posts like these. It's my nosy inquisitive nature coming out in me I guess ;)

Age: 27, which is far too close to 30 for my liking. I always used to set 30 as a deadline - '"If we're not married by the time I'm 30, that's it, you're out on your arse"... or "No Mother, we will have children when I'm 30". Might have to start changing the deadlines to 40! The good thing about being 27 though, means that I was an 80's child. Being a kid in the 80's was immense - I think everyone could benefit from having an 80's upbringing. Bring on the shellsuits!

Bed Size: Double. Tsk. 

Chore you Hate: All of the ones involving clothes - washing, ironing, putting away. Not too fond of cleaning the bathroom either. Actually, I loathe housework full stop. I'm not dirty mind, I do do it, I'm just not happy about it hehe.

Dogs: I have one, Holly, and she is crazy. Love, love, love dogs. Such loving companions. 

Essential start of your day: A cup of tea (or two!).

Favourite Colour: Pink! Also love teal/turquoise.

Gold or Silver: My engagement ring is gold and I wouldn't change it for the world, but I do love wearing silver. 

Height: 5ft 7" ish.

Instruments I play: None. I learned the recorder and violin at primary school, much to my Mam's annoyance. She used to hide the recorder from me!

Job Title: Dispenser. Soon to be Pharmacy Technician :)

Kids: None, thank you.

Live: In a lovely house on a beachfront in South Wales.

Mum's name: Eryl, more commonly known as Mammy or Bitch - don't panic, I'm her bitch too.

Nickname: Excluding Mr L's affectionate nicknames, I'm usually Lollipop/Lolly or Coral (don't ask).

What happened to O?! **Edit thanks to Caz** One wish: I want to say something really lovely and meaningful, like world peace, cure for cancer, a lottery win, or for my brother to have his sight. I know none of things are likely to happen in my lifetime, so I'll just say that my one wish would be for the wedding venue we visit next week to be perfect. I'm easily pleased.

Pet Peeve: I have so many. Bad manners, noisy eaters, bad hygiene (there's really no excuse), people leaving their indicators on for ages after they've turned a corner, patchy fake tan, people writing 'brought' but meaning 'bought'... I could go on.

Siblings: Two older brothers - Jaime and Christian.

Time you wake up: Well my human alarm (Mr L) wakes me at 6:30am but I'm not fully awake and functioning 'til at least 11am.

Underwear: I go for comfort knickers I'm afraid. Very rarely match though my bra's are pretty ones. I can't abide an ugly bra.

Vegetables you dislike: Aubergine's. So mushy and bleurgh. And mushy peas. Normal peas, love, mushy peas? Noooooo. I'm quite good with vegetables though and like most of them. Even the unpopular ones like cabbage and sprouts!

What makes you run late: My hair. I've got my make-up routine sorted so that I can look presentable in a matter of minutes, but I can fiddle with my hair for ages, and it wouldn't look any different to when I started.

X-rays you've had done: My shoulder after a car accident and my ankle after I jumped from the promenade onto the beach. There was a big pile of sand and some concrete, guess who landed on the concrete? Yeah... Never broken a bone though, touch wood.

Yummy food you make: I'd like to think all my food is yummy, but my best recipe is my cheesecake. I also make a pretty delish stir-fry. Mmmm.

Zoo animal: They're not in many zoos but I love elephants! We saw some in Blackpool Zoo and they were so funny and sweet to watch! I love when the baby heffalumps walk holding onto their Mammy's tails... awww.
