Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick - Nectar

Bobbi Brown is a brand that often falls under my radar. Until recently, there wasn't a counter near me, so I just kept forgetting about it. I do have a Shimmerbrick in Bronze that I love during the Summer, and whilst using it recently I remembered to check out the website. Automatically I'm drawn to the Shimmerbricks because a) that's the only product I have experience with and b) I'm starting to get obsessed with shimmery cheek products/highlighters.

I checked out the website for about a week whilst I did some research and read some reviews and stuff, and this little beauty always caught my eye. No matter what products I looked at, I always came back to this. It's the Shimmerbrick in the shade Nectar.

This is such a gorgeous product. It's got 5 complimenting shades of coral that you can use alone or swirl together. Here are some pretty swatches for you:

The top shade is a pretty pink-coral, the third and fourth shades down are medium peachy-corals, and these three shades have a gorgeous gold sheen to them. The second shade down is a lovely pale, white gold with the most stunning pink sheen. It's so, so pretty but I can't get it to photograph properly, unfortunately. The bottom shade is unashamedly vibrant pinky-coral. It's quite similar in tone to the top shade, but instead of the golden sheen it has a subtle coral sheen. I am so in love with this Shimmerbrick! It's pigmented enough to use alone as a blush, but shimmery enough to use on top of a regular, similar toned blush to make a pretty highlight. I particularly love it over MAC's Ripe Peach blush. I can imagine this looking amazing with a tan in the summer too, but for now it works just as well with a light hand. LOVE!

Are there any other hidden gems from Bobbi Brown that I've been missing out on?

xoxo
