Wichita was NOT a city we ever considered living before Joe started his residency. But during the Match process in his last year of medical school Wichita kind of found us! And so far, we have absolutely loved it!
It's the largest city in Kansas (I know that's not really saying much! Ha!) but it definitely has a small town feel.
We have a cute little area downtown called Old Town where there are nice restaurants and a movie theater. It's got brick-paved streets.
I love being in the midwest because you get to fully experience all four seasons. We could probably have a fifth season called Tornado Season!
Some interesting facts about Wichita: Kirstie Alley has a house here, we are getting the world's largest IMAX theater, and at any one time at least one Air Force One plane is stationed here. Did you know that??
