A twist of the old tale

Hey all you bloggers,
the holidays are definitely boring without school nothing to do and lame holidays definitely put off your mood.Unless plays are here.Wild Rice and Hossan Leong cooperated and made the faboulous play Beauty and The Beast.The old tale has many twists but no play is thrown like Wild Rice.Belle becomes beuty a mirror becomes a phone and everything is different.Beauty(Emma Yong)is living in a small house with her buisness man father,Big Boss Bong(Lim Kay Siu)and her two sisters Brandy(Darius Tan)and Desiree(Chua Enlai)who are obsessed with brands and bullying each other and Beauty.When Big Boss Bong plucks a Rose out of the Beasts garden he gets caught and the Beast agrees to spare his life on one condition.An exchange for one of his daughters.Therefore Beauty starts her Journey in the Mansion.Will beauty follow her heart and love the beast she loves?Or go back to her family and forever wonder what could have been?After the show my mum managed to get backstage passes and we went on a tour of the backstage life of Beauty and The Beast.We first went on an elevator which was immensly huge it was even bigger than a hospital lift!It is used to carry heavy equipment like play sets.We then reached the second level where we met the phenomenal Hossan Leong and he directed the show.He brought us to the Costume Department where we saw all the fairytale costumes they were amazing!Colouful and imaginative it was GREAT!Then we were brought to see the beast's mask it was quite interesting for a piece of latex.It is actually two masks!Then we saw the wigs which looked heavy and big but they were fun to look at.Then we finally went to the Green Room where i met Shi-ann she was actually in the play!Well she was in the program.But the Green Room was actually for the actors to get used to the bright light.
