Hello Panda review (double chocolate)

I took an interesting take on this review. Let's start off regular stuff here is a picture of the bag. I'm recycling the box picture from my previous blog about these. These ones come in a gold bag.

These cookies are chocolate filled with a chocolate cookie on the out side. I bought these like 2 months ago.

Here is a picture of the cookies.

I was disappointed I did not get an (American) football panda cookie this time.

I tasted these. I like these better than the ones with the vanilla cookie and the chocolate filling. It is the same filing though. They have a robust chocolate flavor. I let my dad have some. He was not my "guinea pig". He likes double chocolate stuff anyway. For his birthday he always eats a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.

Hello, Double Chocolate!

I picked up more panda cookies they are chocolate chocolate Hello Panda cookies. I haven't tried them yet. When I do. I'll write a review on them. There were other flavors at the store like vanilla cookies with vanilla filling and vanilla cookies with strawberry flavoring. I'm not really big on strawberry flavoring. I didn't like the Koala's March strawberry ones. I wish there would have been "reverse" cookies. Chocolate cookie with vanilla filling.

Hello Panda review

Here is my review of my Hello Panda cookies. They are really cute. Some of these pictures are bad quality. They come in 2 shapes round and shaped like a panda head. The cookies depict pandas playing various sports. I like the rollerskating and football ones the best. I think it's football; maybe it's rugby. The panda is holding a football shaped ball. The taste is similar to Koala's March. The cookie has a bit of a different texture. The cookies aren't as hard as the Koala ones. The chocolate in the panda cookies is softer and fudgier than the Koala ones. The back of the box said "product of Singapore". I'm not sure if that made a difference in the taste.

Cookies and Candy

Chocolate covered Cordial blueberries
These are tarter than the cherries. After you eat a few they become an acquired taste.

Candy cane Oreos
My dad bought these to try. He thought they were just Oreos with colored frosting. They are not they have crushed up candy cane pieces in the frosting. I thought they were really gross. He couldn't taste the peppermint flavor, and it's really strong. I've said before he has no taste.

Fortunate Cookies

Happy solstice to anybody who observes that. But it looked like an early winter anyway. The leaves were changing color.

Still working on my basketball themed song.

I was looking over some paper entries I had written earlier this year. On January 19th I got this fortune inside a cookie.
It says "A big fortune will descend upon you this year". What a joke right? There was no fortune that has descended upon me. Well I have until the 19th of next year to see what happens. Chances are bleak. Well at least it didn't say "Every house has a bathroom."

Out of all the fortunes I've saved and collected this one has to be my favorite.
The problem is I forgot when I found this one. :/

40 Days & 40 Dozen

It hasn't really been 40 days of rain, but after days and days of it and 8 inches of it, it feels like 40 days have passed. It didn't get quite this bad......but had it kept it up, it would have.....

Today however the Sun is going to shine and here it is getting started........
I've kept very busy during all the days of being shut in. I made this wreath for the inside of the front door......

I have baked all kinds of goodies and made candy............Seems like 40 dozen

These are Cream Cheese Fruit Pound Cakes........They have a Vanilla/Rum Sauce Glaze on them.

There are 3 different kinds of cookies here...........

These are Rum Balls..........

This is Manna, a really simple candy. You melt an 11 ounce bag of butterscotch morsels
in a glass bowl in the microwave. Stir in 1 cup of peanut butter. Add 6 cups of corn flakes.
Stir the mix up well and form into balls or drop spoon fulls on wax paper. It taste like Butter Finger Candy Bars. You can also make it with chocolate morsels.

Today I'm making Date Loaves and fudge............
I've been a Good For Nothing Blogger these last few weeks but I have to get this all done by the weekend..........Then I'll be back on a regular basis.

" Deck The Halls & A Winner "

Good Morning! Welcome to a Christmas Tour of our home on Swiftwater Farm! Don't be expecting a " Southern Living " house as my decorating is simple and comforting rather than fancy! Most of the stuff is old but holds lots of memories. If you entered by the the front door and most people don't, you'd see this very old wreath, made by me............

If you came through the carport, which most do, you'd see another old wreath made by me....

And....you'd see this on the left of the door..........

We're going through the front door and into the foyer for a look at the decorated Cabin Hubby made me........

Now this is my favorite decoration this year!

I should have cleaned up around it before snapping a pic........ :)

Hubby made me a 6 foot table to put my Dept 56 Dickens Village on.........

I have two more houses coming via the mail...........

2nd from the left is BOZ's BOOKS, a Christmas Present this year from my daughter Melanie

Here we see Dickens Birthplace, The Old Curiosity Shop, & Boz's Books..........

Here is my " Skinny" Christmas Tree....... I still have umpteen presents to wrap which is not one of my favorite things to do............

Even the clock gets a bow!

A few Santa's for Scarlett & Rhett...........Don't ask why I didn't turn the telly off....

Mine and Hubby's stockings...I NEED a TITANS Stocking !!!

I need Angel Hair (can't find any) under this manger scene too.......

A festive mantel..........

To the kitchen where even the pitchers get gussied up!

A Nativity on top of the fridge.............

The kitchen table..........

The cookbook rack.........have some M&M's...........

I made this wreath this year for the dining room door...I'm still decorating in that room so I'll show it later....... :)

My Christmas Cactus is trying to bloom..........

Yesterday I made Candy all day to fill the Christmas tins.........Divinity........

Peppermint Bark...........

And...Christmas Macaroons...........these are as rich as Bill Gates!
