let me first start off by saying
it never looks like this
there are usually piles and piles of scrap paper everywhere
and unfinished projects laying everywhere
but it is the happiest place for me in my apartment
i get lots of good ideas here
and actually finish them here too
sewing machine on the left side
below that a purple cow paper cutter
olfa cutting mat in the center
vintage thread keper on the right
alex underneath the table on the left
a medium-sized cork-board
filled with bits and pieces of inspiration
paint swatches, paper bunting, and comics
and of course a to-do list in the upper right corner
along with a list of birthdays from ry's side of the family to the left
a beautiful pincushion from my friend A
some yellow divine twine in a vintage Japanese bud vase
a sweet picture of my sister and i
a john derian tumbler from target that adds some luck to the table
and my vintage singer dressmaking course to add some cuteness to the table
i am sad that my table isnt super cute
but it is really functional, which is important right?
i also have one of these
she is amazing
ry got her for me on my most recent birthday
oh happy organized day!
she helps me pretend that i am organized
i keep all scraps in one drawer, all my punches and ribbons in another, etc. etc.
it really is organized chaos
but that is what works for me
i dont like being super rigid with my organizing
that can get so tiring after a while
but im sure its worth it
ill work on that
