Pacifica Review

I ran across some Pacifica products at a Sephora store in New Jersey. Their packaging stood out from the rest {ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!} and I kept wishing I had the time to stop and look at their full line of products. I can now say that everyone should own an item from Pacifica . Pacifica carries lotions, perfumes, candles, soaps, and many more items in amazingly wonderful scents that anyone would adore!

A Bit about Pacifica
Pacifica was started by Brook Harvey-Taylor. Brook began mixing her own fragrances from essential oils she bought at the local food co-op where her mother worked. It was a start, though one with no specific destination in sight. The path got a bit clearer when in the early nineties, she moved to Eugene, Oregon, to attend college. While there she began studying aromatherapy with what she calls an “eccentric” aroma-therapist who taught her all about natural fragrances and later bestowed on Brook her entire library. Yet, obsessed with perfuming, Brook found herself embarking on a very personal journey, creating fragrances that were like no other. As Brook was finding inspiration on the West Coast and a fresh direction for her perfuming, fate intervened in the form of her husband Billy Taylor. Billy had studied photography and filmmaking and spent five years traveling around the country making action sports films for the Discovery Channel and National Geographic. Brook’s talent, Billy’s production background, and their shared love of the great outdoors magically collided, and together they created Pacifica, an idea conceived during a long drive home after a surfing trip.
From the beginning, Brook and Billy had a grassroots vision. They believed that if they invested in the quality of their products and the fragrance experience, rather than marketing, people who fell in love with Pacifica would spread the word. They were right. Their devout following of fragrance aficionados and earth-conscious connoisseurs deeply value Brook’s fresh approach to perfuming, which enhances rather than overwhelms. Her blends are sophisticated and complex, yet, fun, happy, and easy to wear.

My Review

I was sent Malibu Lemon Blossom Solid Perfume, Tahitian Gardenia Soy Candle, and Tibetan Mountain Temple Body Butter...believe me they are as delightful as they sound!

The Malibu Lemon Blossom Solid Perfume is a sweet little solid perfume that comes in an adorable take along tin. The solid perfume is made from coconut and soy wax and an all natural blend of oils. I love this little perfume because it is compact so its easy to throw it into your purse, travel bag, or luggage and go! This little perfume has the most delicious scent {to me it actually smells like Lemon Pez Candy...and I LOVE the smell of Lemon Pez!} it is citrus and sweet mingled together perfectly.

The Tahitian Gardenia Soy Candle will transport you to a far off land free of laundry, dirty dishes, or clutter.  The candle has an amazingly rich scent of fresh gardenia {I swear it smells like a fresh bouquet!}. The candle is clean burning, made with all natural oils, and packaged beautifully...a great Mothers Day Gift! {Hint...Hint!}

 The only way to describe the consistency of the Tibetan Mountain Temple Body Butter is that it is deliciously thick and creamy like pudding...it is AMAZING! The Tibetan Moutain Temple scent reminds me of Christmas for some reason...it smells a bit like Cinnamon and Cloves. The Body Butter glides on smoothly across the skin and leaves skin supple, silky, and fragrant. I love using this after a warm shower to moisturize my skin.
