Into the woods..... (Cue scary music)

Hey all you bloggers,

well Simply Me has been missing going to the Esplanade theatre with the amazing architecture of the spikes on the ceiling of one of Singapore's landmarks,the two durians.I love it at the Esplanade theatre,just the atmosphere of it being able to see how much Singapore has grown since 1965.The restaurants there,serve up the tantalizing flavours of Singapore's local food as well as a mix of western and Asian food.Simply me simply loves the restaurant Simply Perenakan.Oh my goodness I just used the word simply three times in the same sentence! But Simply Perenakan has the three S's which are vital for me to like a restaurant.Speedy,Spendlour,Special.The taste of their food is simply amazing.Anyway let's get back to why I was at the Esplanade,I watched the musical Into The Woods.It was phenomenal really I wish they could have more shows so all of Singapore could go and watch.The music,the costumes,the actors everything about it was just breathtaking.It is basically a musical pantomime but with a lot of twists here and there.Well the whole story is basically a remix of fairy tales.Basically a mash-up of Rapunzel,Cinderella,Jack and the Beanstalk,Little Red Riding Hood,The baker and his wife but it's realistic its funny its charming I just really liked it mainly because it was also very relatable of how you wish for something with all your heart and when it comes true you are so ecstatic but then you realised that maybe this wish wasn't what you wanted at all.Well that creates the dynamic of the mystery.Loved it.5 stars off the bat
