Guidecraft Kitchenette Review

 My husband and I are always on the lookout for sturdy, well made, solid wood furniture, toys, etc. Solid wood items are rare in this day and age....why? Its cheaper to make furniture out of cheaper materials...and many people aren't willing to pay the price for quality items. When I found out about Guidecraft I couldn't believe my luck. You see, Guidecraft sells over 850 educational toys and furnishings made out of SOLID WOOD. No more plastic shelving, no more flimsy faux-wood...this is the real stuff ladies and gentleman!

John Fein's Father started Guidecraft in 1964 in a small woodshop, producing 10 items. John purchased the company in 1995 and has continued to develop the line, which now includes over 850 educational toys and furnishings. Yes, their size has changed, but their mission remains the same; stay true to the tradition of smart, beautifully crafted wood products, which allow children's minds and imaginations room to truly wonder and grow.

My Review

   I am a lucky, lucky, mother and my daughter is a very lucky girl because we got to review the Kitchenette in Nautral from Guidecraft. Now the Kitchenette does not come pre-assembled so you need someone crafty with tools to help out {thank you sweet, handsome, husband of mine!}. The Kitchenette was shipped quickly and wrapped very, very well. My husband was able to quickly assemble the kitchen in about an hour using the easy to follow instructions. As he pulled out each piece of the set he kept commenting on its sturdiness and quality. I would have to agree...the quality of this kitchenette can't be beat. I wouldn't be surprised if it was still around when we have grandchildren! The Kitchenette is the perfect size for a playroom or bedroom...not too big and not to small...just right! The Kitchenette comes equipped with a wireless phone, stove top, refrigerator, sink, microwave, and oven. There is no flimsy piece to this Kitchenette set...everything is sturdy and built to perfection. I honestly can't say enough about the quality and craftsmanship of the kitchenette. My daughter was speechless when she saw the kitchenette...she loves washing dishes in the sink, stocking the refrigerator full of vegetables, cooking over the stovetop, reheating in the microwave, and baking in the oven...all while talking on the wireless telephone. Any product from Guidecraft would make a wonderful Holiday treat for any special child on your Christmas list!
