Chocoley Review

Christmas is right around the corner are you looking for a fun activity to get your family in the Christmas mood? How about a Christmas Chocolate House Kit from Chocoley? I was sent a kit to review and it was unlike any other kit I have received or purchased...to learn more read on...

A bit about Chocoley
Whether real chocolate or compound, Chocoley is in a completely different class than the overwhelming majority of raw chocolate ingredients available nationwide (whether through the web, catalogs, etc.), and especially compared with mass produced grocery store chocolate products. Don’t let well known brand names fool you. Just because a company has been around for a hundred years and they’ve advertised that they have "the very best chocolate," doesn’t make it true. Quality is quality, and cheap is cheap. The difference in Chocoleys chocolate is not just the ingredients but that the chocolate is produced in relatively small batches (in comparison to other brands) and is therefore produced with far superior quality control from batch to batch. Because of this, the Chocoley Indulgence line is an "artisan" chocolate. It’s like comparing your mother’s homemade "secret" recipe using fresh ingredients and the special way she makes that fantastic dish, that no one else can seem to reproduce or even come close to duplicating.

Preparing chocolate creations can be fun and simple, or you can express your creativity and talent and make it an art. Chocoley is happy to assist those interested in pursuing this wonderful craft by offering not only chocolate ingredients, but a full line of chocolate candy making tools, equipment, supplies, kits, molds and tempering equipment.

My Review
I was sent a Christmas Chocolate House kit from Chocoley to review. I received the following items in the kit:

  • 2 Chocolate House Plastic Sheet Molds
  • 1 chocolate plastic sheet mold
Christmas Assortment - snowman, reindeer, Santa and drummer boy
  • 1 chocolate plastic sheet mold
    2" Christmas Trees
  • 1 chocolate plastic sheet mold
    3" Gingerbread People
  • 4 lbs. Bada Bing Bada Boom Candy Melts White
  • 4 lbs. Bada Bing Bada Boom Candy Melts Milk Chocolate
  • 4 lbs. Bada Bing Bada Boom Candy Melts Dark Chocolate
  • Red & Green chocolate coloring oils (.65 oz. each)
  • 2 white cotton candy making gloves for handling molded chocolates
  • 10 lollipop sticks (For Gingerbread Person mold, if you want to turn into a lollipop!)
  • Step by Step Instructions
This Christmas Chocolate House Kit is unlike any other kit I have ever seen! The molds are thick and not flimsy {important when you are working with chocolate}, you get LOTS of chocolate to work with, and even gloves to keep your hands chocolate free! The step by step directions are easy to read and understand and everything you will need to decorate your Christmas House is right at your fingertips! My four year old and I opened a bag of the Bada Bing Chocolate and had a taste...oh my goodness...I had to have my husband hide the rest otherwise I would probably eat it all...it is THAT GOOD. Rich, Smooth, and SO creamy! I can't wait to make the Chocolate House with my daughter and husband in the next few weeks...it will definitely make a gorgeous discussion piece in our home over the holidays and be fun to make and eat together! One of the best things about Chocoley Chocolate {other than tasting delicious!) is that all Chocoley Chocolate is Peanut Free, Tree Nut Free, Egg Free, and Celiac Safe...so even those relatives with allergies can take part in some Chocoley Chocolate!

The company did send me a product or service for review. This in no way has affected my opinion of the product or service.
