You know it’s Christmas when scores of flying baubles descend from the sky and invade your living room. Fear not – flying baubles are not usually interested in humans; these (otherwise) benign extra-terrestrials only ravage and infest Christmas trees. Indeed, the self-sacrificial nature of Christmas trees is a truly sobering reminder of the reason why a particular child in a manger was born unto us some 2000 years ago. Whoever thought that a simple Christmas tree could reflect the amazing love of Christ at Christmas-time?
