Inspired by Rachel McAdams

I saw this picture of the stunning Rachel McAdams, and thought the look was fabulous. I love the bronzed smokey eye and the natural, glossy lips, and decided to do a look using these colours. The thing to remember here kids, is that my look is inspired by Rachel's look, not an exact replica. I don't look anywhere near as beautiful as her, and it's not quite the same, but I do love the look nonetheless. It's actually quite annoying because the flash has washed out a lot of the intensity. I also haven't taken my eyeshadow as far above my crease as Rachel's is, but I think it's pretty anyway.

I used:

FACE
Revlon Colorstay Foundation - 150 Buff
Garnier Tinted Eye Roll-on - Fair
MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer - NW15
Maybelline Pure Mineral Foundation - 02 Rose Ivory
Collection 2000 Eyebrow Pencil - Blonde

EYES
Urban Decay Primer Potion
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - French Fries
MAC Eyeshadows - Woodwinked / Tempting / Romp / Spiced Chocolate / Nylon
MAC Fluidline - Blacktrack
MAC Kohl Power Pencil - Feline
Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara - Black

CHEEKS
Benefit Blush - Coralista
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish - By Candlelight

LIPS
MAC Dazzleglass - Sugarrimmed

It's a little bit OTT for a day spent washing, ironing and studying for my NVQ, but I felt glam all day long! And, let's face it, feeling glam isn't a bad thing. Mr Lollipop loves it too, so I'll be wearing this more often! I also really liked my hair today. Because it's so thick and long, it's really hard to get volume. I managed it today though, by keeping my natural curls :)

Oh, and once I had finished, I turned around to see my baby Holly fast asleep on my bed, using one of my rose shaped cushions as a pillow! Bless her.

xoxo
