Hope you all had a fab Halloween last night! I haven't celebrated the dressing up side of Halloween since I was about 13, because there is something better to celebrate in my life. That is my beautiful and amazing Mammy. It's her birthday on 31st October (you can imagine how much fun I've had telling people my Mother is a witch over the years!) so the family go out for a meal every year. It's normally an evening thing but since it was a Saturday this year, we went for a meal at our favourite restaurant in the early afternoon, then we went to spend all her birthday money haha. It was pretty subdued as the Mothership doesn't like a lot of fuss and attention, but it we had a fantastic time all the same. We were home in time for X Factor too - which I shouldn't really be pleased about but I was!
Here is an EOTD for you. My camera cut out on my before we went so this is all I could get, which I'm gutted about as my hair looked fab! All the ones of me in the restaurant are without flash so you can't see me, or it's too blurry to work out it's me haha.
I used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow - Strut
MAC Eyeshadows - Smoke & Diamonds / Carbon / Blanc Type
Benefit Lust Duster - Snow Bunny
Collection 2000 Dazzle Me Pigment - 15 Angel
MAC Power Kohl Eyeliner - Feline
Max Factor Masterpiece Waterproof Mascara

You can't see but I used MAC's Sunbasque blush to warm the look up a little bit, with MAC's Creme d'Nude lipstick. Before we left, I smudged a little more Feline along my upper lashline too, just to add a bit more definition. And I did wipe away that speck of mascara by my brow. Oops!
Please excuse the clumpy mascara. I attempted to put false eyelashes on. I used the Girls Aloud Nadine ones and failed miserably, so there was glue residue left all over my lashes and lashline that I didn't have time to sort out. They didn't seem to fit the shape of my eye - no flexibility in them or something. That's the second time I've tried those lashes and the second time it didn't work. I'm by no means a pro when it comes to false lashes, but I never have this problem with MAC ones.
This is a look I normally wear at Christmas time, because it's smokey and glam with a little bit of shimmer, so I'm sure you'll get to see the full face of this soon :) xx
