If you haven't read my original review of this mascara, you can find it here. In a nutshell, I absolutely loved it. It gave my lashes length and definition, and the vibration wasn't as scary as I was expecting. Fast forward 2 weeks and my love for this mascara has subsided somewhat.
When I trialled this mascara, I had a day off and had the time to play and investigate. I could spend 10 minutes working out the best application method, wiping it off and re-starting if need be. However, when I'm rushed in the mornings, it's a bit of a nightmare. One coat, fine, but doing the second coat just clumps it up, making it look like I have a massively thick mono-lash. Not pretty.
I don't know many women who have lots of time to spare in the morning. I definitely don't, which means that I want a mascara that will give me length, volume and definition in a quick and easy step. I don't want to spend 15-20 minutes applying my mascara, only to spend another 5-10 minutes correcting the clumps that the second coat have created. That's 25-30 minutes in the morning spent on mascara application. Seriously, even I'm not that vain!
I do still really like this mascara - providing you have the time to spend on application. This is ideal for me to wear on a night out, but as an everyday mascara? Nope, definitely not keen. Such a shame as I've never had my lashes look that long without using false ones. Ultimately, I think it's down to the wand. Not the vibrating action (I still love that), but more so the shape of the wand. It's like the Define-A-Lash wand which I absolutely despise. You can see the awful results Define-A-Lash give me in my original review.
So I hope this extra information is helpful to you. Have your opinions of this changed since you first used it? xx
