No Match

There's no easy way to say this. We didn't match into any of our anesthesiology programs. We got the email on Monday and since then our entire life has been in upheaval. Joe's dream's are entirely shattered. Yesterday we secured a Family Medicine residency here at Oklahoma. It'll work for now. We've very low. Trying to focus on the positives. Wishing this was all a dream and we will wake up and everything will be set right. So much hard work to just be able to give up your dream. I know this is going to be a good learning opportunity, but right now, it's hard to see to the other end of the tunnel.
