Free Vintage Easter Images

Just a little Easter surprise I thought I'd share with you--some vintage Easter images. Print them on fabric, make them into cards or whatever you dream up. I've used the 3rd image down as a card before and highlighted it with glitter and it turned out just beautiful! Enjoy them and have fun with them. Please right click and save them to your hard drive, but please don't copy/paste them. Thanks! Happy Crafting!

March--National Craft Month & Ruthie Rabbit

March is National Craft month--sounds like a good reason to do some crafting and some crafty shopping--not that we need a reason, but just in case we do.

I thought that in honor of our Craft Month I would share a free pattern with you. Ruthie Rabbit!

Ruthie Rabbit was designed by me and she appeared as a free project in the Jan/Feb 2004 issue of Country Marketplace magazine. She's simple to make, so you have plenty of time before Easter to make her up. Just click the link below and it will take you to Free File Hosting Then just click on the red download/view button to save her to your computer. She is in a pdf. file, so you'll need Adobe Acrobat reader to save the file and use it. If you have any questions or need help saving the file, just let me know. Happy Crafting!

Fancy Dress Ideas for St. Patrick's Day

Irish Costume for St. Patrick's Day
As most of us know, St. Patrick's Day is the annual celebration of all things Irish and is named after one of the patron saints of Ireland, Saint Patrick. The day is usually on the 17th of March, but as has happened this year where it will be held on the 15th March, it sometimes has to be moved to avoid the second day in Holy Week.

It is traditional for people to go to parades, eat traditional Irish food and drink Irish beers like Guinness. It is also very popular for people to get dressed up in green clothing or indeed to wear Irish themed fancy fancy dress costumes. A leprechaun costume is an obvious choice for an Irish costume as well as dressing up as a Shamrock, the national symbol of Ireland.

Taking a look around what is available for St. Paddy's day on the web, there are many leprechaun costumes, including sexy versions for ladies, funny shamrock hats, green wigs and there are even St. Patrick's Day Costumes for your dog!

Check Out the Irish Costumes on Jokers' Masquerade Fancy Dress for more ideas.
