Review & Giveaway: Emergen-C Kids

  
    Kids do lots of things that we as parents just can't control such as; sneezing on one another, wiping their nose on their sleeves (or friend's sleeves), putting their fingers in their mouths after touching doorknobs...oh, it is like a constant smorgasbord for germs-yuck! Since I now have two little ones in the house I know how important it is to boost up my children's immune systems (especially when one is attending preschool!). Emergen-C has always been a 'must have' product in our home. Whenever my husband or I are feeling 'under the weather' we take an Emergen-C to help give our immune system a boost. Now Emergen-C is available for Kids and I couldn't be more excited!

Review

    I was sent three boxes of Emergen-c Kids in their fruit punch, orange, and grape flavors. Let me just start off by reminding all of you that my daughter is a VERY picky kid. That being said I was a bit nervous when we received the three boxes of Emergen-c Kids. I knew one thing was certain-she would either love it or dislike it and never try it again. I asked my daughter which Emergen-c flavor she wanted to try first. She chose the grape flavor and I mixed it with about 1/4 cup of water. When I added the Emergen-C to the water it fizzed all the way up to the top of the small glass and my daughter thought that was super neat! Next she took a sip and immediately wrinkled up her nose-"its a bit spicy and fizzy"-she remarked. SPICY? Huh!? I was stumped... I tasted the Emergen-C kids prior to her trying it out and it tasted great-kind of like grape candy. So then I thought of what my husband sometimes does with his Emergen-C and thought I would give it at try with our daughter. I took the glass filled with the Emergen-C and poured it in with some grape juice we had. My daughter picked up the glass and drank it all! Since then I have added the Emergen-C packets to Orange Juice, Apple Juice, etc. and my daughter LOVES them-and I LOVE that she is getting extra vitamins, antioxidants, and electrolytes!

Do I recommend Emergen-C Kids? 
   Most definitely! Especially now during the cold winter months when viruses and colds are rapidly spreading!
