Top 5 (and a half) Lush soaps

The first time I stepped into Lush, it was quite overwhelming - I was particularly scared by their huge selection of soaps. I was so overwhelmed that I avoided them for over a year, and when I finally bit the bullet, I ended up spending a fortune as I couldn't choose between them all! So, I decided to list 5 (and a half) of the best soaps to help a few Lush Soap Virgins out there!

1. Honey I Washed The Kids
I absolutely adore honey scented things and this soap is no exception. It's a honey/caramel/toffee sort of smell - good enough to eat! Whenever I've bought it, I seem to end up with a piece without the honeycomb on top, so I can't say whether that adds anything to the soap. It's a super creamy soap that suprisingly lathers up really well, and my skin feels gorgeously smooth and soft afterwards. The yummy scent lingers all day too, so a huge thumbs up from me!

2. Rockstar
It's pink and smells like sweeties, with the added bonus of stars inside! Not glittery stars or anything, just like a white soap star outline, but it's very pretty. If you're at all familiar with the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar, then you'll know this scent. It's gorgeous, sweet and a little bit fruity, and like HIWTK, it lingers on your skin all day. It's another creamy soap so my skin feels so smooth and moisturised after I use this. It's a very girly soap so when you want to bring out a little more femininity, use this!

3. Porridge
I love this soap. It's a creamy bar with a layer of oats on top. It sounds odd but the oaty bits really exfoliate your skin, and because the bar is so creamy, it moisturises as you scrub. It smells a little strange at first, but once you're lathering it up in the shower or bath, it turns into a beautiful, yummy, sweet porridge scent. I have to be honest, without the oats I'd probably not buy it again. It does smell yummy, but it's the fabulous exfoliation that makes it appealing to me.

4. Sultana of Soap
This one is really hard to describe. It's got bits of apricot and cranberry in it so it smells fruity, yet it definitely has a spicy kick. It sounds so weird but it really works! This is probably the least creamy of my favourites, but my skin still feels soft afterwards, and the fruity bits add a little exfoliation. Nowhere near the exfoliation of Porridge, but a nice little addition all the same.

5. God Mother
This is the bigger, sexier sister of Rockstar. It's sweeter, fruitier, and has purply-blue sparkles! Oh yes, a glittery soap! I love this. It's not creamy, but it lathers up easily. Lush says it's a hand soap, but I've used it on my body with no problems. This one seems to 'melt' quicker than the others do, but if you notice, this isn't creamy - it's more of a see-through one if that makes sense? The scent lingers, but the glitter washes off - boo hiss! Haha. It smells exactly like the Christmas Limited Edition Snow Fairy Shower Gel - absolutely gorgeous!
And the half?

5.5 Chox Away
This one was LE at Easter, so that's why it's a half, but it's so yummy I couldn't leave it out! It smells delicious, like chocolate, honey and mint. It's not really moisturising, but it smells so good I don't care! It looks a little weird - brown soap? Yuck, but again, the smell more than makes up for it. Some people find it sickly, but I'm a fully-fledged chocoholic and I adore it!

Hope this helps someone! Do any of these make your top 5, or do you love/hate them all equally? Let me know! x
