Beanie Designs began when Yacine Diop's husband taught her how to crochet-and she became addicted! At first she crocheted to relax but then she moved onto making hats and blankets for her daughter and realized that she would love to share her one-of-a-kind creations with other mothers....thus, Beanie Designs was born!
Beanie Designs carries a wide selection of adorable baby hats, Infant hats, newborn hats, and baby headbands all handmade with care and exceptionally soft yarns. Yacine has assembled a team of talented artists both here in the U.S. and also in China to keep up with demand for the sweet baby hat designs. All of the artists share Yacine's vision: to create the most beautiful baby hats around, each handmade with love and an eye towards quality and perfection.
Beanie Designs is also able to help enrich the lives of other stay-at-home-moms who love to knit, both here and in China. Beanie Designs knitters are primarily work-at-home-moms (and some dads!) who share Yacine's devotion to creating sweet baby hat designs. In China, Beanie Designs production is overseen by a husband and wife team from England who are helping bring well-paying jobs to parents who knit at home to support their families. Beanie Designs provides training in their proprietary knitting techniques to help build skills for all their knitters and ensure consistent quality across all Beanie Designs products.
My Review
I was sent an 'Earflap Hat' in Baby blue, Navy blue, and White to review from Beanie Designs. The Earflap Hat is hand crocheted from 100% cotton. The hat features blue and white stripes, braided tassels, and ear flaps to keep little ears nice and toasty! The Earflap hat is made extremely well and looks SUPER cute on my little boy! I love that the hat can easily be tossed in the washing machiene and that it can be worn in both the fall and winter months. My son hardly ever keeps a hat on but he loves the Earflap Hat...and he especially loves playing with the braided tassles! I love the variety of hair accessories and hats that Beanie Designs offers to their customers. There are so many gorgeous designs to choose from and their customer service is wonderful! Any of the items from Beanie Designs would make a wonderful gift for a baby shower, birthday, or holiday.
