Have a stress free Holiday season!

Fa la la la la!
The Holiday season will soon be upon us...it is easy to get stressed out with all of the planning, baking, cleaning, etc. so make it a priority this year to not let yourself get stressed out! Follow my ten Holiday Planning Tips to keep you and your mood 'Merry and Bright!'

My Top Ten Holiday Planning Tips
1. Get your Holiday shopping done early- Whether it be offline or online get it done before the craziness of the season begins.
2. Make a budget-Planning a budget for each of your Holiday items makes it easier to not go overboard.
Some examples of Holiday budgets are; grocery shopping {for family meals}, presents, Holiday decorations, clothing, etc.
3. Put up your Christmas tree after Thanksgiving and leave it up until New Years-so many people rush taking down their Christmas tree...why? Leave it up and admire it for a extra week or two!
4. Create Lists-Write out gift ideas for each person you are purchasing items for....that way when you get to the store you will know exactly what areas to go to.
5. Take family photos early {if possible}-taking family photos early insures that their will be enough time to edit, make copies, and use the photos for Holiday cards or gifts.
6. Order Holiday cards early-don't wait to the last minute and stress yourself out. Pick your perfect card and order in advance.  I love Storkie Christmas Cards-affordable, cute, and unique. Make sure to make a list of everyone you want to send cards to!
7. Wrap it Up-Get as many presents wrapped 'in store' as possible, sure it might cost a few extra dollars but those extra minutes will be greatly appreciated by you and your family when the Holidays roll around!
8. Plan your menu-plan out your Holiday menu(s) so that when you head to the store you know exactly what to buy.
9. Clean the house-Start cleaning a few weeks before company arrives-go from room to room. First pick up clutter, organize, and then do a thorough deep-cleaning. Make sure you give other family members 'cleaning' assignments as well so you don't end up doing it all!
10. Take it all in-Relax, kick your heels up, play games, and spend time with your kids and/or grand kids ...even though you may be hosting family make time for YOU to relax and enjoy the season...!

Happy Holidays to YOU and Yours!
