A bit about Olive's friend Pop
Julia and Lea are the Mums behind Olive's Friend Pop. Based in Potts Point, Australia {a small suburb of Sydney} Olive's friend Pop is a collection of vintage-inspired, original clothing for little girls. Julia and Lea like to refer to their clothing as "nostalgic playwear" or you can refer to them also as "modern day heirlooms." Julia and Lea's creations are inspired by proper little-girls' of clothes of their grandmothers' generation, Post WWII, and from a time when little girls looked like proper little girls! Though all the clothing is special Julia and Lea don't view their clothing as 'special occasion' wear. Instead, everything they make is made to be played in and gotten dirty. Olive's friend Pop is todays take on vintage designs, produced in beautiful, but wearable and durable fabrics.
My Review
I was sent a Silvy Pinafore Dress {with green floral lining} to review from Olive's friend Pop. I will say this now...I don't think I have ever been in love with a clothing line until now. How I wish Olive's friend Pop had a store in the U.S. Their clothing is gorgeous, timeless and oh, so versatile! All of Olive's friend Pops clothing can be worn to the park, the beach, or worn to a party or wedding. That's right...you can let your kids be kids in these clothes...and these clothes will last! Now that is what I call quality craftmanship! The Silvy Pinafore is so sweet, girly, beautifully made and so stylish! I love the floral lining and the vintage-look of the pinafore! My daughter looks like a proper little girl prancing around in her little pinafore! She loves it as do I!
So no need to go crazy when looking for adorable children's clothing that is high quality and super unique....Olive's friend Pop is it!
