well today I went out with my mom and we went to the esplenade theater to watch the new play Emily of Emerald Hill.A one man show to celebrate 10 years of wild rice and who better to play emily than the founder of wild rice the fabulous or really talented Ivan Heng!Well the play basically centralises around Emily the mistress of emeral hill who is left to fend for herself after all her family members have either passed away or is gone and she tells her tale of how she came to singapore and how her life was like and how women are important in this world not just men are important women play an equally important role that none of us,men or women should ever forget.I loved the play! It really was exciting,funny and great to watch.It also taught me many lessons to cherish what we have,to have equality as well.Also loving someone who doesn't love you back was tolerated in the past but now if that is happening to you tell him forget you and move on.Hurry and go and buy tickets! :)
