You're out of time

Hey all you bloggers,
well today was incredibly fun but also incredibly sad because it is my last day of freedom before I have to get back down to earth and down to my books instead of in my Singapore shopping haven.*Sigh* Well all good things must come to an end but today definitely went out with a bang.I love the purchases I got at F21 and Topshop my 2 favourite stores.I got my very 1st pair of high-waisted jeans today! I love them so much but today something made me very disappointed, the movie I saw with my mother today.I watched them movie In Time although many people were raving about it,this show was a real disappointment,it was unrealistic and became boring after a while. The great acting could not account for the lack of interest it posed for the viewers.I would rate it at 2 and a half stars at most and I'm sorry to say but I don't recommend my bloggers to watch this film but if you want to go and watch it it's really up to you but the film just didn't appeal to me.Here's a short summary:Picture it,USA the year 2161.Genetic alteration has allowed humanity to develop a system where individuals stop aging 25 years after birth. Due to over-population concerns, 'living time' has replaced money as the standard currency and people must acquire more time through labor and commercial means after turning 25 years of age, or die within a year. Each social class lives in a different area called a 'Time Zone'. The poor live in the ghettos of Dayton and work each day to earn a few more hours of life, which they must also use to pay for everyday necessities. The rich live in the luxurious New Greenwich, and can live for centuries to millennia based on how much time they have accrued. When Will Salas(Justin Timberlake) patronises a bar he comes across a 105 year old man called Henry Hamilton he is being chased by a group of men called minute-men who steal time from people by killing them. Will rescues Henry by bringing him to an abandoned apartmen and he tells Will about the woes on living forever with that he transfers the century he has left to Will and dies. Will is presumed to have stolen this century and is now a fugitive. He escapes to Greenwich and upon arrival, he enters a casino, where he meets a 90-year old millionaire, time-loaning businessman Phillipe Weis (Vincent Kartheiser) and his 27-year-old daughter Sylvia Weis (Amanda Seyfried). Sylvia becomes interested in Will after a tense gambling table showdown where Will beats her father in poker with only seconds to spare on his clock, and she invites Will to a party at her father's mansion. However the party is interrupted by the timekeepers who want to arrest Will and instead Will escapes taking Sylvia along with him as ransom. What will happen to Will and Sylvia? Well I would tell you watch and find out but I would be going against what I just said but I shan't spoil the surprise for those who do want to watch the movie!

xoxo
