Holiday Candles to brighten your Season!

One of my all time favorite gifts to receive are Candles! Not only do they smell great but they keep your home cozy and warm. I was sent some gorgeous candles {and room spray} from three AMAZING companies to review; Greenleaf, Bridgewater Candle Co., and Votivo.

My Review

I was sent Room Spray and Holiday Candle in Greenleaf's new Holiday fragrance "Gathering" to review. The Holiday Candle is absolutely gorgeous, as I pulled it out of the box I noticed how unique the candle looked and upon lighting the candle I was in for another neat surprise. When the Holiday Candle is lit light flickers through and glows through the outside glass of the candle...it is elegant and gorgeous! Gathering's scent is described by Greenleaf as welcoming warm vanilla with spicy clove and cassia oil, blended with sweet pumpkin and sprinkled with ginger nutmeg, carrot seed and cardamom. The scent is deliciously fragrant and quickly filled my home with a sweet pumpkin and nutmeg smell. The Room Spray is just as lovely but a bit more pungent than the candle. I love to spray the room spray throughout the house before I am expecting company. I have received so many compliments on the scent! Greenleaf also carries potpourri, reed diffusers, and many other items. Any Greenleaf product would make a wonderful gift anytime of the year!

My Review

   I was sent a small jar candle in Cookie Jar and Frosted Berry Tealights from Bridgewater Candle Co. to review. Bridgewater Candles Co. describes Cookie Jar as Cinnamon spice, creamy vanilla, and brown sugar blended with rolled oats and raisins are the ingredients for warm memories. The Cookie Jar candle is a natural soy blend candle which burns clean and is longlasting. The scent of the Cookie Jar candle is lovely...it smells so good you will want to eat it!  My daughter kept picking the candle up to smell it...and once lit the candle smells twice as good as it quickly permeates the air. My sister came over while the candle was lit and she asked me what I was baking! I fooled her for sure! The Frosted Berry Tealights are described as Sweet berry aroma scattered among woodsy pine and softened with warm vanilla recalls the first snow day of the year. I love the Frosted Berry scent it smells like Christmas! I love placing the little tealights around my home to keep my house smelling fantastic and fresh! An added bonus...for each jar candle purchase, Bridgewater will make a donation to Rice Bowls!

My Review

Votivo candles are a favorite among many celebrities and upon receiving my Votivo candle in Icy Blue Pine I instantly knew why. The Votivo Candle is probably the prettiest candle I have ever seen...it came wrapped in a beautifully packaged box...ready for gift giving! It honestly was SO pretty I didn't want to unwrap it! Icy Blue Pine is described as a potent powerful punch of prickly pine pleasure with the underpinnings of sweet and spicy stripped cedar bark topped with merry crumbles of crystallized, ice cubes – the suspended delight of wintery wonderland adventure. The smell is delightful and fresh...and the minute my husband saw the candle he LOVED it...he commented on how the candle was masculine looking and how great it smelled! I would have to agree...not many candles can be given to a man as a present...Votivo candles definitely can. They are beautiful and smell great all while remaining classy and elegant...what more could you ask for?
