DKNY is celebrating the 5th birthday of their cult perfume, Be Delicious, and they've not only kindly sent me a bottle to review, but they are giving two of my readers the opportunity to win some too.
I can't believe it's 5 years old! I remember it being released and Mr Lollipop had the men's version, but I never indulged in the women's one for myself for some reason
What do DKNY say?
DKNY Be Delicious celebrates individuality with refreshing spirit, like the city that inspired it. Served in a sleek metal and glass apple bottle, this juicy fragrance blends fruity-floral notes of apple, cucumber, grapefruit, magnolia, tuberose, white muguet, rose, violet, sandalwood, blonde woods and white amber.
What do I say?
How adorable is the packaging? It's shaped like an apple, and the eau de toilette is so dinky and cute! I love it. I was quite surprised when I first sniffed it. It was a lot lighter than I was expecting it to be, and also didn't smell as heavily of apples as I thought it would. It's definitely got an apple kick there, but I was expecting to smell like apple pie! It's actually quite a musky apple scent. It's really lovely. It smells quite clean and fresh, not overly girly (ie. sickly sweet) and isn't too heavy for daytime. Quite a yummy fragrance and one I'll be wearing a lot, no doubt.
