A Bit about Belle Pearl
In the summer of 2006, on the beautiful coast of the state of Maine, Belle Pearl was created. Now a flourishing business, the company got its start when Angela Apon purchased a web-based baby bracelet site called Princess Pearls shortly after receiving news she was expecting her fifth child. Searching for a way to pursue her passions, yet keeping in mind she wanted to work close to home, Angela found the creation of Belle Pearl to be the perfect answer. Belle Pearl has become a continually growing brand name that exemplifies quality jewelry and exceptional customer service.
The name Belle Pearl comes from two inspirations, Belle, from the French word meaning “beautiful” and the pearl which has been known as the “queen of gems.” For Angela, it is all about feeling beautiful. Whether you are giving the gift of Belle Pearl jewelry or wearing it yourself, Belle Pearl captures the essence of styles that make every women feel confident, stylish, and of course, beautiful. Initially the jewelry line was exclusively a freshwater pearl collection, but as the business expanded, the designs now include semi-precious stones such as peridot, chalcedony, citrine, amethyst, among others.
My Review
I was sent a gorgeous "Peaches N Cream" Child bracelet for my daughter and I to review. Many children's bracelets that I have seen have either been made of plastic or are so delicate that they break easily....with Belle Pearl that is definitely NOT the case! All of Belle Pearls Children Bracelets are made by hand in their studio in Maine...hurray for handmade! The Peaches N Cream bracelet came beautifully gift wrapped in a gift box tied with a ribbon...perfect for gift giving! The bracelet is unique and beautiful...it has a large 6mm peachy pink genuine freshwater pearl which is surrounded by sterling silver Bali beads, lead free fire polished crystals and 4-4.5mm genuine creamy white freshwater pearls. The bracelet also has a Sterling Silver lobster clasp and a 1/2 inch extender. This bracelet is delicate and sweet and very well made. I love that the bracelet has a extender which allows your little one to wear the bracelet for a longer amount of time. The Peaches N Cream Bracelet is available in sizes from Infant to 12 years of age. This bracelet is now a family heirloom that my daughter will be passing on to her children. My daughter loves her Belle Pearl Bracelet and she loves to wear it to church and has shown it off to all of her friends...who want one of their very own {hint, hint Christmas is coming!}.
