Review: Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer

   The Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer is the answer! The Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer uses advanced infrared technology {no mercury at all!} to give quick and accurate measurements everytime! To use the thermometer all you need to do is skim it across the forehead {the temporal artery} to the hair line. The thermometer will beep to let you know that it is properly scanning...its as easy as 1, 2, 3!

The Exergen Thermometer has been clinically tested for accuracy compared to rectal thermometers and temperature sensors inserted in the heart during course of patient treatment and accepted for use in major hospitals, making it the ideal thermometer for use with newborns, infants, children or adults. 

My Review

   I was sent the Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer to review. Having two little ones who don't particularly like having their temperatures taken I was excited when I got to try the Exergen Thermometer out. I honestly can't believe I ever survived without this thermometer-it is so gentle it can be used while on my daughter and son while they are sleeping {and my son is an extremely light sleeper}. The thermometer runs on a 9 volt battery so be sure to keep some extra on hand-just in case! I asked my family doctor about the Exergen Thermometer and he said that the local hospital uses them and that he highly recommends them. I also highly recommend the Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer...it is fast, easy to use and can be used on anyone!
