Sunday 001

I am jumping on the summary bandwagon, so it would seem :)

♥ I am currently sat here catching up on blogs, whilst sipping a cup of herbal tea. Actually, not just sipping, but enjoying. I wanted to wean myself off Diet Coke last year, so tried some fruit teas as an alternative. I hated it back then, but have given it another go this new year and I've really developed a taste for it. My favourites are anything with raspberry, but at the moment I'm drinking Twinings Cranberry and Sanguinello Orange, which is lovely and refreshing.

♥ Yesterday morning I dusted off my trainers, charged up my iPhone and took my bum (and my fiance) off to the beach at 8am. It was bloody hard going and I only managed to run for 3 minutes out of the entire half hour we were out, but I did feel rather proud and smug when I came back. We went again this morning and I managed 5 out of the 9 scheduled 60second runs, so I'm improving! I wasn't the best runner before, but I could definitely manage more than 5 minutes! I'm using the Couch-To-5k app on my phone and it is pure genius. Also I did some resistance training when I came back as Mr L had to get ready for work. Just some press ups, sit ups, squats - you know the drill. We're also taking the dog for a long walk in a minute too - phew! Busy exercise day but I feel great, if not a little tired.

♥ Really looking forward to the return of Dancing On Ice this evening! I love the sparkles, the tricks, and the diva strops. I'm also a fan of Jason Gardiner, in a 'Simon Cowell panto-villain' kind of way. It is fantastic entertainment for an otherwise boring Sunday night. Favourites before the show has started are Comedy Dave (I heart him anyway on Radio 1), Elen Rives (how gorgeous is she?) and Kerry Katona (I do love a good-girl-gone-bad-gone-good-gone-bad-again-going-bankrupt-doing-drugs-going-good-again kind of story - should definitely make interesting viewing).

♥ Yearning for Summer now. We had some sunshine earlier, and it only made me yearn all the more. It didn't last and probably won't be back for a while, but it seemed like spring had sprung! Made me happy, if only for an hour.

♥ Listening to; Ellie Goulding Your Song (still love it), Nero Me & You, Tinie Tempah Pass Out and James Blake Limit To Your Love.

♥ Few to follow; Charlotte, Frankie, Gem and Beth.

Hope you have had a fun weekend and enjoy what is left of it this evening!

xoxo
