Project 365

I decided on January 1st that I would love to complete a Project 365. If you haven't heard of it (though I'm sure you have!), you just take a photograph a day for the entire year. I started one in 2008 but it was part of a forum, and as my interest in the forum dwindled, so did my P365. This year though, I want to complete one for me. I think it'll be a fun way to catalogue my year and I know I will enjoy looking back on it - plus it can only do good for my photography skills! The most I photograph at the moment (with my dodgy camera, I might add) is FOTD and pictures of products I'm blogging about, which, let's face it, hardly requires specialist technical skill!

I'm not anticipating anything extraordinary, exciting, or remotely of fantastic quality - I just want to have fun and enjoy it, and if that churns out mundane photos of my breakfast or a beautiful picture of the sun rising on the beach horizon, then so be it :)

My first week:

The last picture is of a gorgeous little puppy that my delivery driver in work brought into show me and my supervisor (hence the iPhone quality picture!). My nickname in work is Coral, so when he asked us what he should call her, there was only one suggestion really! Suits her, don't you think? My namesake was so adorable! She's only 14 weeks old and he'd literally just picked her up from the kennel. Too cute!

I don't know if you noticed but there is a Project 365 tab now, so you can check back at any time and see my progress for the year. I'm not going to upload them to a photo-a-day dedicated site. I'm quite happy to just post them here on my blog.
