My false nails finally bit the dust on Sunday (after a whole week's wear - impressive!), but not before I made them a bit more glitzy. I was feeling quite festive and was going to apply a really nice red frst, but I thought that since the nails were coming off later on in the day anyway, it would be too much effort, so I just twinkled them up. I used Barry M's silver hologram and I absolutely love it. The camera couldn't capture the reflects properly, but I'm sure you can all imagine how pretty and shiny glitter is.
I quite like it without the coloured base ya'know. I said in my last nails post that I'm not a huge fan of the french manicure look, but I think that adding the glitter makes it better. Tacky? Hell yes, but I follow the philosophy that you can never have too much glitter! A bit of tack now and again never hurt anyone :)
So enlighten me please - which polishes should I be reaching for, for a complete and utter glitterfest?
